ammo starved? not really. much more that they simply have the best vanilla upgrades. people do not pg's because they drain mp like no tomorrow. now you have the ability to get better pg's and instead of using only mp also use ammo. overall this means they are less of a overall
im honestly starting to think that you have no clue of 1v1 or ostheer.
It´s somewhat overpriced comparing it to Soviet call ins. Also it´s only useful on the defense in my experience. So using it is very restrictive. I would like to see it become a breakthrough tank. Currently it can´t do that. On higher ranks it´s good to guard a VP. But that´s it. In an even game you can´t use it to attack. Mabe push some meters forwards, but then you have to get out there asap.
It especially sucks versus Jacksons. While I have no problem with that in general, it´s frustrating that you often can´t escape from them at all, even with good micro.
That means that Tiger and IS2 are only useful on the defense too by your logic. The KT is clearly superior to both of these heavies and has a gun thats actually reliable.
It happens quite often with the King Tiger. One shot, 6 men down. I think that tank needs a complete overhaul. Less splash and ROF, more armor and health, better vet.
Can´t get a clue out of this unit. One time it´s completely useless and the other time it annihilates everything.
When exactly does the KT suck. Its always a scary beast.
You also dont have to pay 50 % more mp for each entity and they are tougher then the fsj.
33 mp for beefed up grens or uber pg's (that special ability is awesome if used in cover).
They are extremely good.
problem is that they arent economical at all in a 1v1 scenario. You pay 100mun for the same weapons PG's have. You may get lower reinforce costs, cloak and the ability, but 100mun is too much for a muns starved faction
