It's balanced. You will be suppressed by the church, I don't know why you think that building is easy to take down when in fact it's not. You cling to this green cover sandbags as if it will basically win you the game when destroying units in green cover would range from slightly easier to completely easier than a church building. Can mortars precision shot that church building and kill the crew as easily as crew in sandbags?
You forgot that CoH cover is "what you see is what you get".
There's a reason players starting with MG's would choose the building over green cover in many maps like rails an metal, it provides cover from multiple directions easily and can't get one shotted by vet 1 mortars.
Open my eyes? Look. learn the map, hop a fence, rush to a building. that is good map design. Putting 3 MG's covering a gas point out in open ground is not.
rushing to a building in the early game and being like "yup, gg" is not good map design. |
thanks tea maker machine.
youre amazing. |
I'm mentioning Axis explicitly, because they don't have a single side upgrade. By a long stretch you could argue med bunker.
Both allies have them, boring ones, still would like to see some more, but they are there. Axis have nothing, therefore I underlined them.
Hell, something as simple as making shrecks a 20 fuel(random number-just saying before butthurt fanboys kick in) upgrade would go a long way.
Get it now?
yes master katitof |

You implied that Axis' best way of playing is to yolo into the highest tier.
Dont mention Axis explicitly next time to avoid very stupid and narrow minded people like me questioning your (soviet) greatness and game knowledge. |
Side upgrades for ALL armies(weapons, additional abilities, armor, popcap reduction/mp income increase, WHATEVER to increase economy depth), especially for axis so its not YOLO into highest tier with no decision making what so ever.
because going for the highest tier is so easy for axis atm |
Sittard, without a doubt. That map inspired me to actually start using my vetos.
I once won a 2v4 on that map after two teammates quit, but it took forever and there was so much artillery flying around it was absolutely ridiculous. After a few more times just camping and bombarding the central VP I decided to try and flank. Spent literally the whole match trying to repair one of the bridges, has 7(!) engis all working on it dodging stuka bombardments. One enemy parked a raketen on the other side and just shot the bridge over and over, still my engis could only barely repair it. Once he built a jagdpanzer all my hopes were dashed.
Even though I managed to rebuilt it twice, I couldn't even cross the bridge before the Axis artillery blew it to bits like the very fist of Hitler himself smashing into it from Olympus.
And my team still won.
After that I vetoed it and stopped playing anything above 2v2 altogether. Every night I send a prayer to RNGesus that Relic will add Lyon. Fucking loved that map.
hates sittard loves lyon
or sarcasm? |
ok |
man, i really did miss these OKW OP threads. theyre really funny considering the current okw balance state. |
upgrades in the tech tree |
Start up automatch and play the game.
By the way, doesnt it get really, REALLY boring to play vs AI? I mean the AI is spamming pointless units like M3's in the lategame, was it really entertaining enough to do it for 2k hours?????? |
