And that OH sniper is not a hardcounter to maxim spam in garrison. I just show some facts, why the video test is bad and why OH has the fastest RoF of all snipers (specially when you take into account realistic parameters) OP: don't use snipers to clear garrison. Isn't it stupid to make a test of 6 guys vs 4 guys ? Why you don't mention 50cal or even better, Vickers, if you want to make a comparison with the brit sniper. Also, you realize the test is bad? It starts with the UKF sniper aiming first and there are times on which each sniper has to reaim due to each hitting the same target. Furthermore, no one is gonna sit the sniper constantly shooting. OH: 66% UKF: 100% SU: 80% Not 100% sure but notice that chances are lower if squads had smaller size/recieve accuracy. You should remark that certain units benefit of barraging at longer ranges. Katyusha is a good example, as it relies more on saturation an area, than alpha strike. CalliOP can work as both, depending on the need as it fires the same amount of rockets on the first barrage as the PW. In: COH2 Gameplay

Auto repair is already in game...OKW have it, Soviets have it, UKf have it. In the end of they if it is too much trouble, completely remove crews and adjust price or stats or pop cap if needed... 1-I'm not sure if both mechanics are equal. When destroyed they don't take damage, there's a 50% crit for each model to completely die on top of the damage coming at them. While inside they also take damage as if they were in a bunker. Again: you have to take every single USF vehicle besides Pershing and give them a new deathcrit and see if it works. Change how USF recrews vehicles. 2-I was not talking about auto repair which can be easily solved. I was talking about crew experience. 3-The point is, there's no need to adjust price, stats or popcap. In: COH2 Gameplay

The idea of trading vet for promotions is an interesting one though. Overall though, Soviets aren't bad and the game is getting close to acceptable balance. The only things Soviets really need are effective penals and something with T4 to make the Soviets less doctrine reliant. A complete overhaul at this point though just isn't really an option. For reference i'll say the Katyusha is fairly balanced and both Katyusha and PW needs it's vet1 abilities improved. IB4 you tell me about unit HP for which i say i agree on reducing the health on the CalliOP on top of reducing it's alpha strike by spreading out the rockets barrage on 6x4. IB4 you tell me teching cost. This is the only thing that makes the PW not "completely broken i need a hotfix 1 week later after patch" on 1v1 and 2v2. Against garrison: in case a rocket doesn't hit the model but the building, it applies far damage to the unit inside multiplied by it's garrison modifier. -Katyusha needs 40 rockets to kill a model. -CalliOP needs 27 rocket to kill a model -PW unit needs 4 rockets to kill a model. Damage profile: PW: 80/40/24 C: 80/40/12 K: 80/28/8 Alpha strike on both PW and C is equal. CalliOP has the extra utility of area denial and truck destruction through the sheer amount of rockets it fires. ATM the suppression is over the top as it only matters if you are using a 2nd PW to secure any kill. In: Lobby
