As I'm reading the list I notice that USF and brits didn't have a lot of OP stuff. So if this change would be implemented the game would became balanced? USF: 1v1 on release against OH. Rifles > LT > Sherman owned you really hard. PD: Rifle company doesn't look OP to you ? UKF: it was mostly OP on teamgames (and it still kinda is), specially with their late game and offmaps. Scavenge is must have on 1v1 if you "follow" the meta. On 2v2 is still useful but i'll say you have more viable options of commanders to choose from. 3v3+ i'll say it really loses value. Elite: i can see "some" value on the doctrine (vehicle maphack, heatshells n ST) if played on 2v2+. On 2v2 might be an offmeta option and 3v3+ you can make it work (you have more partners to cover you if you go ST). Still waiting for the command panzer upgrade buff although. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Balancing infantry performance 1.0: General: -Improved squad spacing on several units (mostly 4 man squad and the biggest offender Falls). This will mostly affect when moving through no cover or craters. This does not affect on map or player generated cover such as sandbags. -(Somehow) Replace cover generated through explosives to be a 2nd type of yellow cover which DOESN'T grant suppression multiplier (1.0 from 0.5). This mostly affects the mid to late game, when the whole map might be painted on yellow cover. PD: why is it that demos generate green cover and other big artillery calls doesn't ? -Veterancy: i think the following 3 units can be adjusted on vet 3. Penals, Rifles and RE. For both Penals and Rifles, their respective accuracy and RA big bonuses only applies on cover. RE vet 3 50% reinforce cost buff needs to be completely adjusted or removed. For some reason they don't receive combat bonuses at vet 2 while other units do at this level. USF/UKF: -(Somehow) Units can only pick 1 LMG from RACKS (1919/Brens). This does not affect the capability of units to pick a 2nd weapon from the floor (Special Weapon Regiment Buff). -BAR performance to be more in line with ARs and differentiate it a bit more from LMGs*. Adjusted DPS from 25 to 35 range The 2.0 version is a really long one and takes elements from different mods. Might make a thread about it. In: COH2 Balance |

When they implemented FHQ commander for SU, during the first days, you had to only pay for one of them and the rest were for free. Spamming FHQ on Semoisky was real. Can we stop discussing about a tag ? The long range capability is adjusted. As originally stated, the longe range damage of 2 bars is less than that of one lmg42. Add to that the fact that it is two dps sources not one, which will accordingly spread the damage usually amongst two entities of an enemy squad not one and therefore reduce the enemy squad's dps less effectively even if they were doing the same damage. At range 35, which is the border within firing or not doing so. At 30, 2 bar will surpass an LMG42. And something you are not accounting for, is that BAR do have focus fire set off, which means extra DPS which can't be account for (scatter hits) and can be used on the move (opposed to LMGs) with lesser penalties than normal. I would adjust Falls and Obers STG as well, but they need further changes/buffs on the units before nerfing them on that aspect (long range performance) This "argument" is nonsense. You can be a bad player (not implying he actually is) and reach midskill with an easy faction yet still lose versus absolutely godlike players who play the weaker faction. Thus you will not reach the top 10. But you can reach something as top200 Didn't we have people back then which were like rank 1000 get to top levels by spamming maxims on 1v1 ?There have been braindead faction balance across the lifespawn of the game.
