I'd like to see this unit improved but I'm not sure how, exactly. Its cost is so high and its performance is so bad that I don't even know where to begin. Then again compared to the SU-76...

No, I'm not saying that. But there should be a window of opportunity. And the M20 is easily killed by raketen + schreck combo. If not killed, it's ability to "rampage" is severely hindered. For the flak HT you have the puma. And schrecks + raketen in buildings.
Oh, btw the Puma also makes soviet T3 totally useless since puma + schrecks counter it perfectly before you even have the T3 building up. Don't even really need raketen,they help of course.
Puma + schrecks also counter the Stuart before it's on the field. So if you choose captain against OKW, your only effective way is the AT guns to deal with armor. But going captain instead of major delays your own tanks a lot. So there are basically only bad choices against the OKW as the USF, and the puma isn't too bad (in combo with the schreck blobs again) against USF tanks either.
Wtf is wrong with you people are seriously expecting units should have no counters when it arrives. both the t-34 and the stuart can kill a puma when properly used. |
I see you finally admitted to nerf kubel, which is a unit that have no counter when it arrives against USF and is able to rampage in USF lines with impunity, forcing all infantry back to base.
The description matches Kubel well, now apply your straight thinking to axis unit, if you are able to.
lets ignore the fact that the m20 is bulletproof with 11 armor and even if you stick units into a garrison it will still win.

I hate OKW T4 as hell. Put it near fuel + one inf squad and it's locked for a very long time.
Puma in my opinion appears on field a little too early. It should be counter for Stuart but if you look at timeline Stuart is actually counter for Puma.
50 cal or quad also work. in the case of the quad it can also go effectively go against the puma provided its close range. |
The fact that (if the OKW player wants to) the puma and schrecks are on the field at roughly the same time the "fast" M20 hits the field. This is a pretty stupid mechanic and not very well thought out by the devs.
Even the famous luchs rush isn't too bad of a choice since you can pretty safely fend off the M20 with even one schreck squad if you just stick your forces together. Even better if you have a raketenwerfer.
Also the T4 truck itself is a ridiculously effective tool of area denial.

Oh yes try to beat the m20 or even better the flak track with the raketten or shrek thats fun stuff and a good way of losing the game.

The TM-35 and Schu-mine cost the same, but the later delivers 2x the damage. The stats on the mines are almost identical. The differences are suppression values that don't make a difference, since neither mine suppresses and the damage.
The Schu-mine should be increased in cost within the range [45,60], to reflect it's higher damage output or cost kept the same and damage halved.
are you nuts. even the teller only cost 50 ammo at the moment. from personal experience the schu mine is sigiifcantly less effective against infantry then the tm-35 |
Aside from the fact that buildings are 1) extremely map-dependant, 2) a delaying tactic that makes you lose map control and 3) still clearable by grenades/Sturmpios (all for a unit that costs 240 mp), you have no business whatsoever questionning anyone's skill unless you show your own playercard.

The fact that you need to spend fuel to get a counter to Kubel which only costs 240MP it's just hilarious.
As USF Fighting positions work by throwing nades at kubel but if they rush you with Sturmpioneers you're done anyway. It only works in some maps as Semoisky so they don't wire the bridge.
Same thing again. some units you need to use fuel or ammo to deal with. |
