Kv2 shot make the same damage from that distance than from 100 mts away. LOL, this game doesn't have that kind of sophisticated damaged calculation. There is only "Front" and "Rear" for any vehicle. There is no such thing as "side armor" even. I'm surprised on how many people actually thing this game is even remotely realistic. Most RTS games including this one are closer to Pac Man than to reality. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Shocktroops at 1CP4 Feb 2014, 19:24 PM I gotta admit, shock troops are quite annoying in 2v2s. One guy spams snipers while the other guy spams shocks. The soviet sniper counters both MG42s and german snipers, so the shocks are free to wreck havoc. Shocks are still very easy to counter in 1v1 though. In: COH2 Balance

Quad is not even an upgrade, its side grade. Unless by great anti infantry option you meant platform that allows for shock reinforcement on the field. Base M5 has much higher DPS than a M3. Upgraded M5 has higher dps AND range than base M5. In: COH2 Balance

Relic already balanced scout cars by making them explode if you look at them too hard. Also, whats inside can die with the car if you've missed that. How does the gun matter if the car is at max sniper range constantly? Its not like it will defend itself against anything stronger then osttruppen anyway. There is also nothing wrong with 250 being doctrinal. As far as I'm aware the river of tears on this topic is based not only on sniper and M3 but also on guards, which are doctrinal as well. Nobody cares about Guards in M3s. Only snipers in M3s. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: SNF Tiger Ace news27 Jan 2014, 19:01 PM This is a much needed nerf. The nice Ace having +25% range, more accuracy, faster ROF, and increased speed is still beastly as hell. On top of that, the doctrine has ALL the best German abilities like cheap purchased Vet (still very OP), G43 and Smoke. What more can you want? Still best German doctrine, by far. In: COH2 Balance
