Thread: Wayward Strategy Shoutcasts7 Jun 2015, 12:12 PM Hey all! I'm a huge fan of the RTS genre in general, and Relic's titles in particular. I produce a broad range of content, from RTS articles on http://waywardstrategist.com/ to my newly started YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCX7gt-iHfOMtVI1XqmYYBKA I'm trying to regularly livestream my gameplay and commentaries, and have been encoding the better attempts and uploading them to YouTube. So far, I only have 2 pieces of COH2 content I consider worthwhile sharing. First, a brief introduction to the game itself: and secondly, a 58 minute slugfest between Devils Brigade as USF and Barbarossa as OKW. I'm aware I have a ways to go, but I thought that at this point feedback could only help at this point. See you on the battlefield! In: COH2 Shoutcasts
Thread: Ardennes Assault - Reviews19 Nov 2014, 21:06 PM Nigo, thanks for sharing my review! I'd love feedback from anyone interested in providing it - I'm always interested in constructive criticism. http://www.rtsguru.com/game/485/article/7564/Company-of-Heroes-2-%E2%80%93-Ardennes-Assault-Review.html In: Lobby
Thread: Are we not going to talk about AA pricing?17 Oct 2014, 19:07 PM I don't have stats for this, but I believe that most players of any game that includes single player and multiplayer modes (more than 50%) will never even try the multiplayer. I agree that $40 seems excessive for this content, but it doesn't make sense to say "most everyone" eschews single player. In: Lobby
Thread: some new unit and features from screenshot17 Oct 2014, 16:14 PM I'm impressed by your ability to pick out units by those tiny images. If I didn't have squad icons, I'd probably be *ucked In: Lobby
Thread: Are we not going to talk about AA pricing?17 Oct 2014, 16:11 PM $40 USD is high (about twice what I was expecting) but I wanted the additional play through options and deemed it worthwhile. For me. I'll be recommending anyone I know that has the game wait for sale pricing. In: Lobby

Thread: A simple solution to have a more people playing allies25 Sep 2014, 00:32 AM Jump back to quoted post24 Sep 2014, 23:15 PMtengen I'm going to have to stop you right there, because the only true cheese Zerg is capable of is the 6 pool, and Stephano's 12 minute max roach push isn't cheese. Terrans and Protoss are much more capable of cheese - proxy rax/gate, cannon rush, etc. Thank you! I was wondering if someone else was going to point this out or if i'd have to In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Appealing and imbalances of 4v424 Sep 2014, 20:36 PM Jump back to quoted post24 Sep 2014, 20:24 PMMajorBloodnok I highly doubt - though I hope I am wrong - that balance issues on 1v1/2v2 as against 3v3/4v4 will be addressed Yeah, that assuredly won't happen. First, Relic doesn't have the manpower to break out balance by game mode. Imagine a patch cycle twice as slow as the current one, for them to patch 1v1/2v2 balance, and then 3v3/4v4 balance. Secondly, this is unprecedented. Even Blizzard doesn't break out balance by game mode. Thirdly, BALALNCE CHANGES!!?!?!?!! isn't something that developers talk about at trade shows. They want to talk about new content: DLC, expansions, etc. This will be about Ardennes Assault, and any upcoming major update, like we had with the southern fronts (?) update. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Fix Mein Kübelwagen!24 Sep 2014, 19:05 PM Jump back to quoted post24 Sep 2014, 18:55 PMEnkidu I'd love to see cons buffed and the Kubel nerfed in some way but I don't think a muni dump is the answer. FWIW I agree. I think a decrease in acceleration/turn radius would be a good start. Let it be fast, but ensure that you can't whip it around the battlefield like a coked out chipmunk. Players should be rewarded for flanking the Kubel. And yes, I'd love to see cons perform better. Their latest nerf didn't make a lot of sense to me. In: COH2 Balance
