KV-8 is better at AI duty but has a terrible gun for AT duty, Brummbar can at least penetrate Allied mediums and deal good damage if it hits. KV-8 can deal more damage against anything with flesh in its range but it has no Bunker Busting Barrage to bomb things from afar so it needs to close in and expose itself against Panther/Tiger. And KV-8 can't escape easily either since it is really slow. There is also no big price difference, is there? Brummbar costs 150F and KV-8 costs 145F IIRC. I don't see any reason why either of these tanks should change. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: 50 cal - Why is it so good? 21 Sep 2019, 11:43 AM I'm not from the balance team but it could be because .50cal needs a specific tech to get and if you've gone for Captain you need 35 extra fuel to get it. Vickers is T0 with no tech needed, Maxim comes along with very potent Zis gun, both MG42 and MG34 are T0 with MG42 needing no tech and MG34 being available with main tech. In: COH2 Balance

The chance to randomly OHK a 4 man squad is higher than OHK a 5 or 6 man squad. And the chance to do so is significantly lower at max range, which vehicles should maintain if they don't want to be snared. Furthermore, Falls can camo-into-snare, which can be deadly against vehicles that were sent to clear them if there's AT nearby. Something other anti-infantry elites definitely can't do and they should retreat instead. In: COH2 Balance

(Didn't they used to have a faust?) They still have their fausts so no, they aren't vulnerable against vehicles like Rangers, Shocks, Obers and other anti-infantry focused elites. That's wrong. Paratroopers with LMGs can actually beat them. However, you're right that Falls are OP RN. The only thing you can do against them is wiping them before they gain veterancy because once they're Vet5, they become terminators. I suggest simply playing OKW instead until they fix Falls. I was playing mostly Allies pre-patch but after fighting against Falls I decided to use them and they're really broken, I don't play anything but OKW with Falls now (hey, it's not my fault that balance team thought that giving 320MP and 2CP cost to the unit that has the most utility in the game was a good idea.
