While historically using lighter Howitzers to barrage served to disguise the upcoming attack by zeroing in for the B-4, in-game it would serve as an alert that a B-4 is about to fire on that area instead. Oh so thats how they nailed the Finnish bunkers down during winter war, basically they somehow managed to land direct hits to the bunkers, collapsing them and killing everyone inside (Kinda off-topic but using other howitzers to gain an accurate shot on enemy positions was totally new information for me, so thanks!) If you nerf the rear armor too much you might see some BS kills, since i have managed to hit a enemy tank in its rear armor by firing at its frontal armor with a 45mm AT gun from max range (the shot landed under the tank and resulted with a rear armor hit) In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Soviet artillery31 Dec 2015, 18:47 PM ML-20 is a great unit, since you can shell the enemy base constantly if you manage to gain VET 2 for it and it can wipe squads with lucky hits if the favours you, but you need to protect it very well since you cant heal the gun crew to save the veterancy (Unless you have a forward HQ next to it), but you can use merge to keep it manned to full strength at all times As for the STUKA BOMBING STRIKE, CAS is not that common in 1vs1´s anymore, so you might get lucky if the enemy lacks in offmap strikes to take your howitzer out, since the ML 20 can withstand barrages from Panzerwerfers quite well, and taking out Ostheer Healing bunker is a good target for the howitzer since you will be fighting versus wounded squads if you manage to take it out In: COH2 Balance
Thread: List Of Dubious Veterancy Bonuses31 Dec 2015, 12:02 PM 251 Halftrack & M5 Halftrack Still get the increased reinforcement range from VET 2 & 3, but if you upgrade them, they cant reinforce at all, so are you supposed to use vanilla halftracks until they get VET 3 with their silly machine guns, to gain the benefits of the veterancy (Also do 250 halftrack Grenadiers still have the insane riflegrenade range at VET2?) Thread: Stuka Dive Bomb in base30 Dec 2015, 15:23 PM Nobody mentioned Propaganda arty?, you can fire it on to enemy base sector for 80mun and gain line of sight at the sametime and it pins & retreats everyone in the area it lands in...NKVD might be secret OP due to all the information it allows you to have!, along with that, the Propaganda arty can suppress units in garrison´s, making Machine guns useless!...and blow up democharges when it lands on them In: COH2 Gameplay
