When COH 2 got released in 2013, The Maxim did 16dmg just as much as the conscript mosin, Grenadier Kar 98´s did 20dmg, and the MG 42 had 8dmg, do we really want to go back to old days where maxims would kill 1 model from a grenadier squad even before suppressing them, and grenadiers needed only 4 hits to drop a model from the enemy squad... Buffing MG damage seems like the right thing to do, but me and my friend maxim spammed our way to TOP 30 2vs2 as Soviets and had over a 80 winstreak back in 2013, buffing damage would result in the same problem that the DSHK had when it got added to the game, 20dmg for it was too much since it murdered the small squads of Ostheer, so buffing AOE suppression is kinda the only fix to the blobbing issue In: COH2 Gameplay

I will admit it didn't occur to me that the gunner could swivel the gun forward and sit on the counterweight. Very dangerous, and not the intended use, but doable. The one on the M10 looks like he's standing on the engine bay, which would mean they cannot turn the turret while he's there. The M10's second mount with the M1918 looks like it's right over the main gun, so I doubt you'd be able to use both at the same time. Mobility is huge in CoH2 due to the scaled down engagement ranges, so that would not be very favourable. The M18 had a turret ring unlike the M10 and M36, but the M18 isn't in the game so that's a moot point. And the Hetzer had a remote-controlled MG, JPIV gets Predator cloaking... Shermans can take multiple rounds from a Tiger... COH2 is barely about realism, this is about functionality for Allied Tank Destroyers within the game. Stug and Panther get mg's I don't see the issue with .50 upgrade. They could just add a guy standing on the back off the vehicle. Or for gameplays' sake just mount the mg on the front of the turret. Didint JAGDTIGER have a MG mount on the back of it on COH 2 (a guy standing on top of the engine manning the machine gun) Even Found stats for its MG http://www.coh2-stats.com/small_arms/jagdtiger_mg34_hull_mp In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Panzer grenadiers are worthless without shreks upgrade15 Dec 2015, 11:33 AM Their weapons are awesome at all ranges, i think people confuse them to COH 1 Stormtroopers with MP 44´s that sucked ass, unless you were standing right next to the target, Move them to cover and they will usually outlast the opponent in a firefight (Long range engaments has the danger element that the enemy will drop mortars on you, or get a MG to suppress your unit since the firefight takes longer, so be wary of that) In: COH2 Balance

Kar 98 only beat G43´s at long range, but with G43´s you can beat back concripts from close range, not sure about Riflemen...but yeah the STG 44 upgrade is still the best weapon you can have in their hands In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Tank destroyers - Shoot on infantry or not?14 Dec 2015, 12:20 PM I sometimes get 5 M-42 AT guns and let them shoot at enemy infantry from max range, they mostly miss but i have witnessed them sniping 2-3 models down with 1 lucky hit, so i keep doing it, and when they reach VET 3 they gain that 30% accuracy that helps them sniping infantry even more, and the penetration bonus helps against enemy tanks asvell #Pray4TheRNG (M-42 is one of the AT guns that still have the old veterancy requirements, so it only needs about 2-3 penetrating hits on enemy tank to gain VET 1) In: COH2 Gameplay
