Thread: I don't know what to do with Stuart24 Dec 2018, 08:31 AM You cant make stuart worth its cost. M20 and aa ht are both much more cost efficient and have roles they are good at, unlike stuart. Only scenario where you would really "want" stuart is if your enemy is spamming luchs/222 and you need AT source that doesnt melt to infantry/doesnt get suppressed. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: What is OKW's weakness?22 Dec 2018, 02:12 AM Jump back to quoted post22 Dec 2018, 01:37 AMaddvaluejack From a OKW's view, I do not have a good way to counter standard Sherman. If I bought a Pz4: Pz4 has no advantage against Sherman with AP round. Besides, M1 57mm is a really good AT gun. So Pz4 has no chance to take down Sherman. If I bought a Panther: Panther could not threaten RM with bars. And Panther is expensive, USF could buy a M36 to counter it. If I bought a Jadgerpanzer: This is suicide. OKW p4 has no advantage against sherman? What about its higher armor, higher penetration or its higher speed with combat blitz? Its high armor also bounces shots like crazy both from sherman and m1 57mm, even with sabot rounds. In: Strategy Desk
Thread: OKW Sector Assault needs to be fixed ASAP16 Dec 2018, 23:50 PM I saw it taking out 80% hp pershing with one drop today. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Rifle Co. is now obsolete16 Dec 2018, 03:23 AM Even when jackson and 76 were trash nobody was using rifle company after easy8 stopped being callin. All abillities in this doctrine are bad and powercreep has nothing to do with it. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Rifle Co. is now obsolete15 Dec 2018, 17:43 PM It was obsolete since the e8 stopped being callin. This doctrine needs full rework the most. Its filled with garbage abillities you would never say you want to use. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Nerf snipers14 Dec 2018, 23:44 PM I love when after chasing sniper half across the map i finally get him with my 2 models left and he just stands his ground and manfights my rifle squad. At he very least snipers should die in 3 seconds when focus fired by mainline infantry squad. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Tactical support company12 Dec 2018, 18:24 PM Since the other guys response was basically "dont add main gun to calliope because i dont like it" i will say DO add main gun to calliope. Will make the unit more diverse from other rocket arty and its tankiness will now be justified since you will have to use calliope on the front to make best use of it. Also mean there will be more opportunities to destroy it. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Tactical support company12 Dec 2018, 14:20 PM Jump back to quoted post12 Dec 2018, 14:09 PMaerafield About M1919: Double lmg on riflemen was OP, but I really dont understand the sense of this weapon since it got limited to 1. Why should I spend 70mun to get a squad that is pretty meh at all ranges? 4 models of the squad have a M1 Garand which performs horrible on long range. A single M1919 squad will lose a 1v1 vs lmg grenadiers and you cannot charge in anymore for CQC. 1 or 2 BARs fit 10x more to riflemen IMO, even on super open maps. Im wondering if it would be a good idea to replace the M1919 from infantry and tac support doc with something like a 2x thompson upgrade for riflemen which consumes both weapon slots, to give them access to a cheap but effective mid/closerange upgrade, similar to 2x STG44 from volks. LMGs are really good vs okw volks spam and they actually make riflemen perform good in the lategame. Obviously they are still worse than lmg grens but you cant expect usf units to be truly good with current axis biased balancing crew. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Let's talk about the scott12 Dec 2018, 14:07 PM Jump back to quoted post12 Dec 2018, 13:51 PMelchino7 I still think the late game indirect fire department of USF should be carried by the Pack Howie. Yeah, and late game indirect fire for okw should be carried by leig. Remove stuka. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Tactical support company12 Dec 2018, 13:37 PM 1. Replace p47 strafe with loiter like ost and soviet ones 2. Let Calliope switch between sherman HE shells and current rocket barrage with 10 sec cooldown 3. Decrease halftruck aa upgrade cost to 60 muni In: COH2 Gameplay
