So I got to play some 1v1s today..It was the Sov vs Ost matchup. I used NKVD and Urban Defense, my friend went for German Infantry Doctrine.

NKVD: Radio Intercept + IL2 are still very good. The scorched earth ability is nice. I didn´t test the KV8 since it was 1v1 and it didn´t fit into the game. Commisar seemed decent in combat but needs more testing since I wasnt familiar with the abilities yet (other than force retreat).

Urban Defense: Shocks seem a bit better but I didn´t notice that much improvement in mid range fights. More testing needed though. Mini AT-gun seems more viable now even though the AI rounds didnt do much for me. I tried KV2 but it was 1v1 so it didn´t do anything and just got swarmed and died. Generally I don´t think the doctrine is any good for 1v1 but in 2v2+ I would be willing to give it a fair try.

German Infantry Doctrine: From playing against it for a few games I have to say I find it very underwhelming. New Stormtroops felt disappointing. 5 men Grenadiers don´t really seem worth it either. More bleed, less long range DPS. This doctrine needs some major buffs.

I think your teammate hit the nail here and it's just that.

RNGesus gave us an abandoned ISU to clinch a come from behind victory with 7 VP left. Epic tank fights. Not super high level gameplay but insane end.

It wasn't ok that 90 munis Demos could one click-wipe a 240-380 MP unit but it is still ok that a 50 munis Mine can on shot (even without clicking on it) a 270 MP + 70 Fuel unit.
Relics and Wehrmacht players logic

To OP, I tried many times to address this but all I got was smartass answers from the Wehrmacht players, without arguments. Get minesweepers they said because they can be everywhere anytime right?
Some would say that this can be an argument for protecting you from Demos, right? Nooooo said the Wehrmacht players.

Don't get me wrong, I like the tellers but I also did like the demos but they disappeared.
That's balance, right?

The difference is that you have 3-4 infantry units so you can´t possibly sweep for all of them. Meanwhile you only have one vehicle in early to mid game so you can sweep for it.

That being said I somewhat agree with you. All the powerful/borderline OP stuff that could OHK units like Demos, infiltration units etc got changed but Tellers didnt, so they aren´t really fair in the current balance.

If you lose a T70 to a Teller it´s generally your own fault.

That being said I still dont think they are completly fair and balanced. Just not sure how to "fix" them. The thing that bothers me is that a 50 muni teller can pretty much end the game for Allies just because of one slight moment of being careless.
