Thread: Sturmpioneer Squad question20 May 2018, 17:00 PM Once a mine is revealed it won't trigger itself unless acted upon by an outside penetrating force. Any of your sturms can disarm it safely, but the sweeper needs to stay within range or the mine could dissappear and explode with your sturm squad ontop of it. This applies for all engineer squads. OKW has a damage window, USF has a damage window. I'm shocked. Who even gets a single schreck on sturms when you need a sweeper. A single schreck makes no difference to the OKW arsenal. Vetting REs is WAY easier than vetting sturms. Want vet REs? Throw them into a tank and start dealing damage. Easy vet. Don't have tanks? Givem zooks or BARs. Way better than trying to charge vet 0-1 sturms into upgraded infantry lategame. In: COH2 Balance

They're supposed to sweep, repair, be AT with pschrecks, be the close quaters assualt unit, and then you want to put the garrison clear on them as well? They also have difficulty getting past vet 2 in most games and fall off once weapon upgrades come online. In: COH2 Balance

That happens a lot when the medic model gets stuck inside the other model it tries to heal, usually occurs when retreating multiple units and they arrive at base at the same time. As far as your points that the soviet sniper was "good vs other snipers" Yeah it was, because the other snipers couldn't fight back against it and players were at risk of losing their own, and it wasn't JUST good against all snipers. It still destroys 25% of gren DPS with a single shot, as opposed to 16.6% when ostheer is firing at most soviet squads. In: COH2 Balance

USF pickup an important building before you, just throw a flamnade, USF pick a cover before them, just throw a flamnade and rush with your SP. ? USF is probably THE BEST faction against the flamenade. Volks throws flamenade? rush the damn volks with your better at close quaters rifles. Not to even mention their better than all other base infantry moving accuracy modifier. In: COH2 Balance
