Saying the T34/76 has "high penetration at close range" is a bit misleading. It isn't anything beyond what most other tanks receive and doesn't have the raw stat to back up the "high penetration" claim. Playing the name game and what units receive what names is simply the definition of semantics and pointless in most cases. In: Lobby

Anyways they're really punishing mines, probably too punishing, but OST and USF both get them and honestly the OST one is better because they're super hard to see because they're thin bar mines as opposed to circular mines. They're more noob punishes though, as higher end players are typically looking for mines when you're operating vehicles and they become less effective the higher the ELO becomes. In: COH2 Balance

Pretty sure rifles destroy them if they close from 35. Grab bars when possible. If you're looking for a light vehicle, the M20 is decent as well as the AAHT. Biggest issue I see happening if there's good MG42 play behind it, but ass grens are CP0(?) I think and that would delay ass grens coming out. In: US Forces Strategies

There is something the people here don't understand, I'm not saying a general unlock for atnade isn't good where it is, but that you're now cut from different build orders since you need this tier unlock to keep your RM from being bullied by LVs and every fuel based upgrade you get before that is just going to be a suicidal decision. Now its x3RM into lt/capt and tier upgrade or you can be taken pants down by an early LV. My opinion is this is a regression in design for the faction. Why wouldn't I be allowed to have an extensive early game, building 2xHMG or a Mortar and a HMG before getting my T1 upgrade, or if I want to unlock grenades and Ambulance before getting a Stuart. Or if I don't plan to get any light vehicle at all and prefer to get Grenade&bars&ambulance instead. Because some dudes at TOP level decided so because they don't do that in their games? What does it cost them to keep the Vet1 Atnade unlock AND having it unlock for every RM once teching? REs with zooks if you go racks, captain has AT gun, and the 50cal has AP which is perfectly fine vs OST lights and "ok" vs puma. Against the luchs the AP isn't really enough but luchs doesn't come out till like 7 minutes. Also double officer works if you really wanna keep on the pressure and don't mind locking access to the pack howie. In: COH2 Gameplay

You think that's going to change anything in elite play? I didn't get to try it out. I don't think it's going to be a major factor though. Bofors are just really annoying to take down. It's going to be a more "win more" aspect rather then a game changer. AEC will still be the go-to. In teamgames now though it'll also just be nice to have AA that isn't the centaur, although as I stated the centaur is now incredible, so it's not like brits were lacking AA. Honestly it'll just be annoying in the lategame to just try and cap VPs and there will a bofors there that will take minutes to take down unless you have heavy arty. In: COH2 Balance
