And it's broken M10, the best USF tank, better against infantry than any sherman.
Pretty sad also to know that Assault engineers do a better job than riflemen...at practically everything.
So I was wondering if it was possible for this game to actually host an all factions games in pvp pool, outside of custom games, and why is it not implemented?
Is it because of balance maybe? I thought balance might have been why, but since the game is hardly balanced as it is, factions being asymmetrical in asymmetrical maps does it really matter?
And as for ww2 purists, since the game is designed for esport and arcade play, and produces only a certain degree of realistic display, is it really important that games in 1v1 (or 2v2) be only axis vs allies?
I know this could be regarded as a stupid idea, and I'm sure many don't feel like it's worth digging, I'm not saying myself that it's a good or bad idea, just wondering if others already thought about this and if there is a reason that the pvp isn't this way?
It could build up much more competitive play, for players to focus mainly in one set of strategies towards one faction, and think specifically in terms of match-ups instead of unit counters.
What rules LMAO?
You're entitled to an opinion, if you're never vocal about your ideas how do you expect them to check things out?
They already said that they mostly chose what to tweak, nerf or buff depending on trending posts and feedback.
You think maxim spam would have been removed if it was for the pro players constantly abusing it?
None of the balance mod team is top 10, Mr.Smith doesn't even play against real players, yet they spoke out their idea around balance and made some great stuff.
It doesn't necesarily take somebody to be top 10 to know what's not right in the game, and even if 90% of balance talk is gibberish, it doesn't mean there aren't good ideas to hear.
OP's post comes out as some sort of passively arrogant thought.
This is just me venting frustration late at night but in my honest opinion you shouldn't post about anything to do with unit balancing or balancing the game in general if none of the following points match you
-You are one of the few pro players of the game
-Ranked at least top 10
-have extensive knowledge on the inner workings of the game
-Be fully unbiased for all factions (the amount of weird faction fanboyism is so dumb to me please stop)
Why?
You do know pro players try(or need) to be as transparent and silent about balance as they can, considering their position as pro players and streamers?
Also this might come as a surprise, but I actually understood vasa's post.
OKW being OP as usual.
I wasn't sure if sector assault was broken or not, until somebody used it on me.
Although I was winning the game, I wasn't stressed lets just retreat to the base.
Within 3 seconds all my tanks lost, almost all my infantry with it for some reason it defies even the UKF one, lasts forever and stalks your units wherever, you got no time to escape it.
They do test this stuff, but history has shown that relic in-house experimenting is whole other world than the one where players make things work(see the cancelled soviet commander).
Since nobody used this commander before and sector assault being barely see, nobody was vocal about it and it has remained so until it now becoming meta.
