Thread: CoH2 - FPS26 Jan 2017, 16:41 PM I play with a i5 3570k at 4,2 GHz and a GTX 970 overclocked 1425MHz and 8 gigs of ram. In a 1v1 my frame rate starts dipping at around 20-25 minutes, usually as low as 40 fps. When I play a 2v2, it stays north of 45 for some reason, but starts to lower from 60 at the 20-25 minute mark too. When I play 4v4 things can go as low as 25 fps. This game is a pile of unoptimized garbage. It all got worse with performance after WFA release. In: Hardware and Tech

Not to mention tommies' out of cover debuffs which hit piats especially hard, with either -40% or -60% reload speed. Putting at on sappers or rear echelons is actually much more cost-effective and worth it. The problem in the live version, in 1v1 and 2v2 at least, is that you can simply double bren your bolstered tommies and gain map control because no allied infantry can stand against it (maybe vet 5 fusiliers, but it takes a while to get them there). This means that you will get a lot of fuel also. By the time a Panther comes out, which can do nothing against infantry, a comet is already happily running around. A single at gun and one sapper squad with double piats can easily scare of a Panzer IV. Not to mention allied artillery dominance with turbomattress and CalliOP. Good luck keeping your vetted infantry, which is basically always outmatched after 5 minutes, alive vs all this madness, let alone your tanks. In: COH2 Balance

But they still have nuke nade coming from stealth which balance it out. Don´t forget vet 3 smoke nade on retreat and predator cloak moving from cover to cover. In: COH2 Balance

As Soviets and Ostheer you need to get the last tier to get mobile rocket artillery, this should be the case for UKF and USF too. OKW gets its rocket artillery at a lower tier, but if you go for it in a 1v1, it will mean no tanks for you in the near future. In: COH2 Balance
