You provide 0 justification why passive sprint is bad. They replaced the passive sprint with active one and they should do the same with all unit that have passive sprint. If you have trouble understanding why you probably have never played against people that decap all the map with sprinting units and I guess there must be reason for that. In: Lobby

While USF's tech structure has improved, I don't think you could just revert the Jackson to its better designed but less balanced earlier incarnation... That is just theory and reverting the all changes is simply not the only option. There many changes that can be tested on the M36 that would allow the unit to counter Super heavies but also leave room for other USF units to be used. Any change to m36 should come with changes to Super heavies and other call in vehicles. In: COH2 Balance

One can protect his SU-85 or Firefly with mines on the flanks, you can't do that as USF because you don't have mines available unless you pick a right doctrine.... USF have stock access to RE mines, stock a access to m20 AT mines and 3 different units with doctrinal units. Not having access to AT mines is simply a myth. In: COH2 Balance

Not sure why you call it not worth using. Same as for example when you need a fast ATG or want to boost late game Sherman/Jackson production time. That's a mechanic better suited to support units like halftracks. Officers (apart from the Major) are all frontline combat units. Beyond that, though? USF officers work fine imo. Do they? Imo: Passive sprint was removed from other unit and for good reason. Lt being superior to Captain with a grenade and bazooka unlock. Supervision not worth using. Smoke and frag grenade/barrage not is share CD as other units. Major can be used in suicide dirty cheap bombing missions. A barrage buffed thru the roof at some point when USF had trouble vs Pak walls when now it is hardly the case. Fake barrage not really worth it since the HE barrage is so dirty cheap and effective. Cheap reckon pass with 2 planes from both sides of the map. Lock down sectors. In: Lobby

The difference is the scale at which they preform. The Puma is like the Jackson of light vehicles. The Jackson is like a large Puma for use against medium and heavy armor Not really both Puma is flanker since it needs to close in to get good penetration and accuracy or attack side or rear/side armor. Puma has the same penetration as T-34/76 at max range. M36 can snipe all day long and have near 100% chance to hit and penetrate from range 60. In: COH2 Balance
