It's a light vehicle killer; if you don't want to fight the puma don't go light vehicles. There is really no hardcounter to the t-70 right now unless they hit a teller mine. You are pretty much never going to get 3 pak shots off on a t-70 unless the opponent completely fucks up. Command p4 needs to be put in t3. That's all the doctrine needs. C p. is also available to other commander it should not be nerf more just because it in M.Defense. The commander should be redesign and the C. P4 removed from the commander since it has both AI and AT vehicle call-ins. It the same story with Elephant and stuka dive bomb that should not exist in the same commander. In: COH2 Balance

Having access to both AT and AI vehicles is what is causing the problem. Then C. PzIV should be buffed since it more expensive PzIV with a lesser gun both in AI and AT. Change to PzIV could include giving 2 fire modes. Indirect where the gun work like Stug's -E (it is the same gun after all), direct where the gun has little AOE, medium penetration but get's some deflection damage (40-80). It aura could should also be changed to improve with veterancy (the veterancy bonuses should be changed to better suit the unit's role). In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Second Commander Rework4 Jul 2018, 15:56 PM Imo this approach is very slow and fundamentally wrong. There should be 2 process of changing commander: 1) Redesign. Commander that bring too much or too little on the table should be redesigned. For instance: there is allot a talk about mobile defense but the problem of the commander is not balance issue but a design issue. The commander gives access to both an AT and AI vehicle with not tech and to doctrinal infantry. Nerfing the Puma or the C. PzIV is not the solution. changing the abilities is more suited for this commander. 2) Balancing abilities. This is regardless of commander. For instance Soviet vehicles detection is an extremely weak ability and it should be brought inline with other similar abilities. This is an issue both with and and the revamped commanders: For instance Soviet tank hunter commander simply has too much AI for an thematically AT commander. In: COH2 Gameplay

This is also why calling in AVRE puts flares over all the wreckages on the map, its a leftover of scrapped half of ability. Well that is inaccurate. Those are Recovery Sapper who are in the game. Avre does not put flares wreckage on the map, it put flares in the point it called in. Demolition sappers had access to demolition charges and light gammon bombs. In: Lobby

They are great in cqb. Only issue is they are current locked behind a 500mp glider in a doctrine that's been hit with the nerfbat so many times it's mediocre. Which is a shame because the ALO is unique and cool looking with unique voicelines, rather than the standard UKF tommy model that gets recycled for Tommy/Tommy AT section/Universal carrier/Emplacement crews you get the picture (it's boring). Commandos is a far better CQC unit, 5 member and cloak. In: COH2 Balance

Anyway there is an easy fix here and it's simply making the bonus not stack. So not really an argument to why UKF shouldn't be allowed a non-doc CQB unit to help with flanks. Air landing officer is not a very good CQC unit its 4 men with no camo. It is however a good support unit. In: COH2 Balance
