You can test it easily with the +10% veterancy xp bulletin in cheat commands mod. The one from Luftwaffe Ground Forces doc is way more balanced. It'd be also balanced if it was just the JU87 AT loiter ability from Ostheer. I think right now the ability starts with 4 or 5 target-seeking anti tank strafes right? Whereas the one from LGF starts with 4 HMG strafes that are not target-seeking. In: COH2 Balance

On a Crossing in the woods- or Road to Kharkov'ish map, yes, but on giant maps or maps with many sightblockers, the firefly really starts to fall behind and show its issues. It's too slow to escape a tank flank attack. And have you tried flanking an Elefant with fireflies? Good luck. Massive panther, ele, jp4 gameplay is a big threat in 2v2 and upwards, the last thing the brits need is more reliable anti infantry tanks. :/ They already got cromwells, centaurs, and all the Churchill variants vs inf In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Is It Me or Is the Coment Tank Absoulutely AWFUL? 9 Aug 2019, 19:30 PM I wish the Comet would get more specialized in its AT role so you have a reliabe option instead of the powerful but slow-ass Firefly on giant maps. Dunno if its possible but I would adjust the scatter and accuracy of the Comet in such a way that it has even lower accuracy vs inf but more acc vs tanks. Then also buff the armor and the penetration a bit. It has mills grenades and phosphorus which is more than enough vs infantry. So vs tanks it should be exactly as reliable as the Panther, with the same accuracy vs inf like the Panther. I'd also replace the vet 2 scatter bonus with reload bonus Right now the Comet just feels like an overpriced piece of garbo that gets roflstomped by Panthers and JP4. The armor is so low that german anti tank weapons almost always penetrate now. (which they are supposed to, but not THAT reliable vs a 185 fuel tank) In: COH2 Gameplay

Osttruppen are designed for increased mapcontrol at the cost of bad killing power. This is useful in 1v1 maybe but not in teamgames where you usually have to focus a smaller area compared to 1v1.
