Upgraded M5 costs basicaly as much as upgraded guards and cheaper that trash shocks. 1st unit that needs to cost more is LMG grens. They must cost 280-300 reinforcment wise after they get LMG and vet1 riflenade range. Right now they can spam it like shit, abusing its 240 MP price. Without any need for expensive infantry. I don't think changing Reinforcement costs after a unit upgrades/Vets is a good idea or feasible at all. It completely goes against the idea of scaling, unit preservation, etc. Not to mention your MP decreasing as your Pop cap increases so you would soon find yourself with an upgraded army that you can't afford to reinforce. If anything Grenadiers aren't the problem, its more Commanders like CAS that encourage Gren LMG spam with endless Munis. I still say they should change CAS Muni Swap to be a Supply Drop like Lend Lease or Luf. Supply. In: COH2 Balance

IE Your rank goes up higher if you beat a top tier player vs. some random scrub. I've never seen the actual formula they use but in general your win % will be correlated with your rank. Otherwise hundreds of people who are 1-0 would all tied for 1st place. I think there is some rank decay from inactivity as well but I could be mistaken. In: Lobby

This gives the US a similar array of openings to OST and grants another counter to HMGs/Garrisoned troops while at the same time giving you other units to build in the early game instead of just Rifleman X 3-4 In: COH2 Balance

That being said I do agree with Comm_ash that they do perfectly fine in Cover. I think the trick is to play smart with them to get them Vet 4/5 where they become godly. 1. Not popping them too far behind enemy lines/unsupported. 2. Not playing them as if they are Shock Troops and YOLO charging at any unit you see. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: T34/76 for 80 fuel20 Jul 2015, 19:28 PM T34s tend to suffer in the late game once German armor has had a chance to roll out. I feel as if they needed the fuel reduction or else they would be hard to justify building otherwise with the new timing and without otherwise buffing them with better ROF or something. I seem to remember a rather long thread on here a while ago about the T34 needing a buff but can't seem to dig it up. Either way, they generally need superior numbers to be effective. Historically it also makes sense and I like the idea of a cheaper throwaway tank. I feel as if the Ram ability rarely if ever gets used and this gives you more of a reason to use it in certain situations. I don't foresee a lot of games where a OST player would get swarmed by 34s without him being base pinned a long time. (1vs1 OKW might be a different story, but then again OKW 1vs1. always is) In: COH2 Balance
Thread: OKW Tech: Is it Fair? 20 Jul 2015, 19:12 PM You seem to be concerned about OKW rushing for Flak HQ but you have to realize that doing so successfully requires a sizable fuel advantage for the OKW player given their fuel penalty (40 + 80 + another 125 for PZ4). Not to mention that means the OKW player is losing out on one of his other two buildings and generally skipping light vehicles for faster rush. I suppose in larger team games where fuel income is inflated and they have access to OST fuel caches this might be more relevant but with the current cost of SU/USF teching they should have more than enough time to get out counters if not outright having an advantage in 1vs1.
