It really forces you to go for an AEC, if you haven't it when the Panzer II shows up you are pretty fucked. One 6pdr as the most expensive AT-Gun is easily circled while british infantry do not have a non-doctrinal snare and you will never hit a fast moving luchs with piats unless your opponent fails with vehicle movement. Why are you complaining about counters when the AEC is the counter yet you refuse to use? Btw using the luchs is extremely risky. the t-70 stuart and aec makes short work of it . Even if it doesnt get killed you have an unit that creates no impact and you are still stuck with vg's. Its better to tech straight to the flak truck building and pump out obers and a p4. which gives the okw a much better midgame. In: COH2 Balance

It's setup/packup time not that fast to be effective against split-push. More than that - MG-42/Vikkers/0.50 cal doesn't need to packup and setup again to change split-pushing targets. It just can (slowly but still) turn it's barrel on target and shoot. What is faster: just turn your gun on turget or packup, turn, and setup your gun again and again? More than that, last one requires from you way more microcontroling. i never said otherwise. but the maxims 6 man squad and fast setup time allows it work much more independently then the other mg's. until the squads with lmg's come calling . when that happens the maxims loses some of its edge. Isn't that enough for that? All MG's in game can into "crowd control". But maxim totally can't, and that's very bad. About single target supression - it's not that fast, actually. DShK pinning infantry fast, ok, but Maxim's supression is pretty similar with MG-42's. Only different AoEs. Anyway, let it be so, but something should be done about it's movement. Maxim's mobility and speed hardly suffering from that "moving on circle" and such stuff, caused by that ridiculous platform. Aoe is not much of an advantage as many people think. good players will split up their squads and assault a mg directly on the side of the arches. if you are using the maxim on a cut of point it will work just fine In: COH2 Gameplay

This is really a minor issue. The difference between mp cost between faction is what? 100 / 200 mp? And the usf and brits still have cheaper tech while the ost and soviets (provided they tech up everything) have higher cost. In: COH2 Balance

The flak track that will get wrecked by the su and usf flaktrack or the ukf aec? Sure he can support it with shreks but any mistake on the okw's part and he can kiss his flacktrak goodbye The okw flaktrack is weak as shit unreliable far to expensive the luchs is a way better option. or you might as well tech straight to tier 4 and pump out obers for all your AI needs In: COH2 Balance

It will make sim city v2.0 impossible because the brit player simply doesn't have enough ammo and forces the brit player to be a bit more careful with his emplacement. But it will still safe the emplacement from arty and direct attacks. right now its a get out of jail free card. In: COH2 Balance

Have you ever thought of leaving them alone for now ? I mean as aerohank is writing almost every time : by buuilding emplacements your opponent will loose map presence on an other side of the map. what about attacking there ? a well placed mt pit can completely cover the most important parts of the map.
