Thread: GG Redesign/Rebalance Mod17 Sep 2016, 17:28 PM I like most of the changes but the one I was looking for was the repair speed for the EFA. I see that rear echelon and royal engineer had there repair rate reduce (although increased a bit once they get their 5th man) but I see that Ostheer can upgrade bunkers to repair stations now and the Soviets get nothing. Is it because the Soviets have some commanders that have some repair abilities? If so I just be honest I don't entirely agree that Soviets get nothing. Can I just suggest to make repair station buildable form Soviet industries and replace that ability in the commander with salvage kits (will need some tweeking)? The commander already comes with vehicle repair so I don't know why it needs the repair station ability. P.s I can see that OKW mine sweeper package didn't come with a repair upgrade anymore. Thread: t34/85 is a bit too cheap17 Jul 2016, 03:55 AM Errr....I don't know about the t34/85 too much considering it's a doctrine unit (in three doctrines). I can do very well without it with the new su85 and t34/76 support. I only see this thread becoming about the panzer 4 and the t34/85 which I think both are fine (panzer 4 can use a fuel decrease through). My opinion on the price increase for the t34/85 seems stupid just because of a mg buff. If you really want to increase the price I would increase the price to 400mp and 140 fuel (same price as it was in the advance warfare commander befor the revamp) but slightly buff its pen or armor (more so its pen). I don't know what would be appropriate but to me this isnt. Edit, I personally would prefer a price hike for a better performing vehicle than just a small nerf. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Rebalancing the Stuka Dive Bomb12 Jun 2016, 17:22 PM So what you guys are saying about the stuka dive bomb is that if person A was standing next to person B in the game and the dive bomb hit the ground with that person just in its aoe, person B would be obliterated while person A stay unscathed? Lol. I say increase its cost to 200muni and make a proper aoe damage area like op has said (mayby not to the extent as proposed). P.s the IL2 fab bomb run the soviets have cost 200 muni, has flairs and can be (although rare) shot down. It also drops its payload in a single direction. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Tiger without claws?11 May 2016, 06:15 AM Jump back to quoted post11 May 2016, 05:48 AMthedarkarmadillo i think the tiger is mostly fine, it did receive a few buffs recently (will always outrange mediums and will always pen them, comet aside) maybe like 20-25 more frontal armour but thats about it (enough to negate the recently green su85 buff) it reliably kills infantry and it has blitz for a lil extra oomph from the engine if needed its also in like 5 doctrines iirc, very good ones at that so its much less exclusive and much more flexible in how you can use it than the perch or is-2 This I agree with. The Tiger is in far more doctrines offering more versatility in strategies. The Tiger does have Blitz at vet 1 so a speed buff would not fit it (and in some doctrines panzer tactician, O god). The Tiger has the same pen and range as the king tiger. The Tiger rear armor is being reduced to 140, same as the IS-2. The Tiger has a faster firing rate and better accuracy. The Tiger takes less experience to vet over the IS-2. So the only buff I would say would be a small front armor buff to 320 or 325, slightly better than the ISUs front armor which is 310. Also the engineers in the EFAs do need their repair rate improved. Please correct me if I am wrong with something. In: COH2 Balance

Anyway, Ill just say my piece as I said on the official forums. All I believe the ISU needs is a veterancy requirement reduction and the 30% less scatter at vet 2 to be replace with 20% more pen (Iv always have a grudge against the fact a panzer 4 with skirts can bounce a AP round). This would reduce squad wipes at higher veterancy but make the ISU somewhat more confident against tanks as a reward for keeping it alive. Concrete round needs to do 320 damage and have a absolute pen value like the sturmtiger has (Iv seen this bounce of a kt, 70 muni for a single shot that can still bounce and hit the ground as well as dealing the same damage as the main gun is bs). Edit: The concrete round needs to be aimed, what I mean is the round will sometimes just hit the ground before reaching its intended destination. In: COH2 Balance
