Thread: Stormtrooper G43s26 May 2016, 13:16 PM the only time i've ever used it is when i've already given PGrens the shrecks... then they become a long-range squad, but still, with only 2 G43s, they're not doing a whole lot of anti-infantry anyway. i'd never give it to stormtroopers. to me, a lot of their utility comes from their camouflage. getting in close with STGs and attacking from camo makes them dangerous. Thread: ESL Go4CoH2 Statistics, Part III: Commanders26 Apr 2016, 05:36 AM pretty good statistical breakdown. i'd argue a couple of things: 1 - the high percentage of wins without a commander choice is probably due to the games being won early. i can't verify this without watching replays, but there is no benefit to NOT choosing a commander, especially for a faction like SU. 2 - some more analysis on the the timing of commander choice might make this data more relevant. you hinted at it in your introduction, but certain commanders (like advanced warfare, armored assault, and mobile assault regiment) provide the majority of their advantage in the early game. it'd be interesting to see that breakdown. thanks for the post.
