What's the deal with this map? It seems the north spawn has a huge disadvantage.
I recently played a 1v1 where I was allies up north and OKW down south. The north spawn has a wide open area around the cutoff whilst the southern cutoff is pretty much snug behind a nice shot big blocker.
The most recent game I used I&R Pathies and wrecked multiple Inf. Support Guns and his BattleGroupe HQ. Still I wasn't enough.
He can put T4 structure, and battlegroupe HQ in the same open area and just camp it out. I have tried Priests before but it gimps your ability to get out Shermans/Jacksons out. Not to mention 1v1's aren't really made around this type of camp/arty gameplay, especially not the way USF and Ost for example is designed.
I can only imagine what it would look like if he had a Pak-43 and I didnt go for Arty.
Not to mention, the VP layout makes games go on for a LONG time if you don't annahilate/eradicate your opponent.
Should this map be re-worked or taken out of the 1v1 map roster? I realize "just vetoing" works too, but with maps like Bystraya, Crossing, and other imba maps it becomes hard to choose which shit map to deal with.
Forgive me for not saying GG WP every time I face the same boring meta play or abuse of imbalanced features. Most of the things I have moaned about have either already been changed or are on the agenda to be changed, so'd I'd say that most of my complaints have been legitimate complains.
