given that it can't be repaired for the first couple minutes i think it would probably be fine. the garrisoned squads aren't going to contribute vet to the bren (afaik) and the damage on the base unit is shit, slowing down the bren's vet and therefore the vet 1 reapir so you can't use it like an m3, WC51, or kubel.
i'm not bothered by the arc change since most units that have an arc require you to face them manually. this actually moves towards consistency and gives mortars something to distinguish themselves with.
You are missing the point, which is that dedicated anti-vehicle weapons have to reason to be fired constantly and automatically upon infantry. Is that so hard to understand? This isn't Quake Live or Unreal Tournament.
It's a WW2 game that prides on it's 'immersion'.
he's not missing the point, he genuinely didn't understand what the issue was because it's so rare.
which means it now needs to either be much more expensive (~~250mun), needs to be easier to dodge (make it take longer to land?) or the AoE needs to go back down.
relic added the suppression because the lieg and pack howitzer were shit. it wasn't enough so they added the accuracy buff on top of it and we have their current iteration. clearly the accuracy is the issue.
that said, giving them suppression on the barrage only would separate them from the other crew artillery and make them a lot less annoying.
i also want the pen on the lieg reduced as they soft counter tanks right now.
there doesn't have to be another RTS for people to go play. at this point i only play coh2 with friends and spend the rest of my time on other games. i wish there was a good RTS option right now but i don't really like any of the available ones for one reason or another.
