having used the cromwell some more and fought against it recently, the fuel cost might need to go up 5. the armour on the cromwell is certainly very weak but the gun still preforms just fine.

I have to disagree with this post. In late game the complete field is plastered with yellow crater holes and you can build green cover with your IS wherever you wish. IS have crazy vet and win against obers (green vs green cover) by a big margin when having 5 men & brens.
I don't see good players doing mortar or isg spam, since its not an issue to counter, as you can push usually players who go heavy on indirect fire away or go double sniper.

i actually played against a decent brit player who used IS since i made that post and i will have to revise my opinion of IS somewhat. they're definitely strong with the 5 man squad and bren and will certainly beat another basic squad if they have cover. they're still really vulnerable to AoE though and on certain maps you don't always have cover everywhere if you're trying to flank, which is a mark against them. with all that said, i think IS performance only shines if you have both brens and the 5 man squads though, making either single investment on IS generally a waste.

yup. it looks exactly like the texture corruption issue i use to have with SLI (minus the even crazier shit) before it got fixed.

whatever it is it's a game issue as it happened to my friends as well who had been playing for as long as i had. that was our third or fourth 4v4.

In this game I countered E8 best allied medium with T1+T2 no problem.

t70 wrecks OKH t1/2 and the stuart isn't bad either. just gotta watch out for fausts.

Yep, let's pretend that not all maps have tons of yellow and green cover and the only thing you have to do is move 2 steps left or right. What are we talking about....?

IS sections have a lot going against them because they have to remain stationary and in cover to get their bonuses. this makes IS only effective while defending from cover and weak against anything effective against stationary targets and anything that forces them to move. it's not an issue of cover availability (which on many maps is sparse in key areas) but a matter of IS only being useful in specific situations.

A heavy tank, that is the price of a medium tank and requires a doctrine to counter. Great.

first, it depends on how you define medium and heavy tank. the game considers the V and comet medium tanks and the kv-1/2/8 and churchill heavies. the kvs have 800 hp... so yes, technically the kv-1/2/8 and churchill are cheaper than medium tanks but certain medium tanks also cost more than heavies. if you talk about the standard, "t3" mediums though the most expensive is the pIV which is 125 fuel and so the churchill is actually 25 fuel more expensive. if you compare the churchill to the V/comet the ONLY advantage the churchill has over the other two is the health and regardless of whether or not it has that health the other two will beat it anyway. also, requiring a doctrine to counter the churchill is just you not being a good enough player; everyone get's the doctrines with the V and jpIV.

They'd probably be fine if grenade was removed. The ability to counter their counter is just poor design. Also the croc is still ridiculous and definitely still does more flame damage than the Hetzer, despite flame damage apparently bring "normalised". No other faction can be so frivolous without fear of punishment with their armour

AT guns counter the churchill hard as long as they stay out of range, which is why they have 60 range and the churchill has 40 range on the main gun and 10(?) on the grenande. you also have snares (mines as OKW and, ignoring tellers, pfausts as OKH) to keep the churchill away from your single AT gun that you really should have multiple of because one AT gun seldom counters anything by itself as pretty much any tank can drive through the ark from the front.
