Nice cast. Was hoping someone would do that game. Base racing is such a rare thing in CoH.
To answer your question about why I backed my Firefly up so much: I was expecting him to try and stop my Cromwell from killing his battlegroup headquarters. I wanted to get him to follow me, the plan was to retreat the Cromwell (trying to lead him over a mine or two) and then when he's overextended assault him with the firefly.
So for that reason I wanted the firefly far enough back that it wouldn't reveal itself until it was too late for him to escape. (Also far enough away that he couldn't support his kt easily)

Ah that makes sense, then when he over extended into your base you did the smart thing and moved out of it then just wrecked his base and all his infantry.
But yeah it was an awesome game like you said it's very rare for a base race to happen and that just shows how back and forth this game was.
