You can still bleed Sov sniper for 90 MP when it loses model. You can't bleed Wehrmacht sniper if you didn't killed him. A mortar shell can still one-shot Soviet Sniper Team.
ONCE AGAIN why does Wehrmacht sniper shoots faster when it faces 4-man Tommies and USF/UKF support weapon crews as well as some of the other 4-man squads?
EXACTLY. But they are RAISING Soviet Sniper rate of fire while nerfing its durability. KEEP it 2-man, increase rec acc a bit. Do NOT raise rate of fire in order to compensate for durabiliy nerf. What's funny is that AS A MOSTLY SOVIET PLAYER (and sniper user) I think that this change is overall a BUFF to Soviet sniper. I still oppose this change as I hate that homogenization trend going on lately. I mostly play 4v4 with my friends and almost never lose Sniper to small arms fire. I do lose it occasionally to mortar shells. 82 HP is a good thing to have in such case. ON TOP OF RAISED RATE OF FIRE. In: COH2 Balance |

We can't have reliable statistical data on whether snipers are "too durable" or not. I don't know how to resolve this issue into non-opinionated non-biased set of claims based on pure facts. Maybe we could do some modelling using unit stats... In: COH2 Balance |

Obviously it is for flavour. Otherwise there would be 1 faction. Games would be completely balanced (if you exclude map balance and spawnpoint balance). And yet - nobody would play such game. It just doesn't mean that this is unbalanced. One side have more HP, other side have more DPS. Which isn't true for Snipers in next update. In: COH2 Balance |

Even better, imagine this common scenario: Yes, that's a good point, but things change if you add LMG42 on top of Grens, which shifts HUGE portion of their DPS to a single model. It also have "side effect" (irrelevant if shooting one-man sniper, but relevant if it is two-man sniper team) of focusing that portion of DPS on a single model, unlike Cons, who usually spread their DPS around several models. I get your point. I'm not sure if Total DPS of Cons = Total DPS of Grens. Otherwise Cons would always win against Grens at any range just because Cons have more EHP. Can you (or anybody?) provide link to some reliable source of unit stats so I could double-check it? And Oorah is quite useless for chasing as it removes shooting on the move. In: COH2 Balance |
