Thread: Combat Engineers and its current state9 Jan 2019, 20:11 PM They're the cheapest squad in the game, they are fine. If you want them to fight well put a flamer on them and use merge. A common opening is getting another CE as your second unit, it's not because they are bad. All the different engineers are good in their own unique way now, they're all pretty balanced. I would have said Royal Engineers were the worst before they added the snare to them in the last patch. You need to factor in more than just raw combat performance. In: COH2 Balance

Can someone confirm this bug for other halftracks as well? Do you mean while it's still inside? If you hop out of an open top vehicle that is targeted by a snare it will switch targets to your infantry, there isn't a known way to fix this. Especially noticeable with the AT satchel sticking to infantry that hop out of the 250 because of how sloooow it is. In: COH2 Bugs

Can we get the ambush accuracy bonus to not work versus retreating units with the g43? At vet3 with ambush bonus the g43 has a 97% chance to hit retreating units at max range, still an 87% chance while retreating through cover. Compare to the actual snipers and the relatively cheap cost to leave this squad cloaked on retreat paths. In: COH2 Balance
