Seems ridiculous that OKW can just A-move their forces into your while Allies need more micro + effort just to deal with all of that

Thread: Months later, still no adjustment to the Forward HQ2 Oct 2014, 00:35 AM
It costs 60 fuel, quite an investment imo since it's always gonna be destroyed sooner or later. Using two mortar squads as Ostheer to bring it down in a reasonable amount of time. A rushed stuka can be out at minute 6 or 7 and nullifies the whole commander so. I once even destroyed one with a sWS truck by crushing the building. Actually I can't remember a team game I lost against this commander. In: COH2 Balance |

On the next update: Just imagine the horrors of a winter hürtgen forest. Deep snow in the flanking paths - retreating units all the way back to base while a Blizzard hits the field. In: Lobby |
Thread: Should engine crits do damage over time?30 Sep 2014, 16:59 PM
Imagine how strong at nades and panzerfausts become. Recently a lot of threads suggest that tanks should be removed from the game with all the penalties people want to have on them; fuel upkeep, damage over time on engine crits and no auto fire for heavy tanks. In: COH2 Balance |
Thread: Simple answer as to whether a unit is OP or not.30 Sep 2014, 00:50 AM
Actually the US Forces have a vulnerability against the Kübelwagen for the first 5 minutes of the game. Every other faction can decently deal with the Kübel, thus it's not op but the other us is UP against a Kübel start. Furthermore you have to check the unit synergy of the complete faction for your rather foolish definition of the OPness. Unit a might be OK in faction a but can become batshit insane op in a other faction. In: COH2 Gameplay |
Thread: Reduce cost of BARS and Bazookas?29 Sep 2014, 13:49 PM
Well weapon racks are a feature of the US forces which allow to equip any squad with Bazookas, I don't really see what's so problematic about, you gonna retreat squads from time to time so you will have eventually the option to equip them with weapons. Schrecks are better, but can be only upgraded to volks or panzergrens. If you think a King Tiger should be easily taken out by a bazooka blob than I'm glad that I don't share the vision of your game, where infantry blobs can take out any super unit. IS2 & Tiger 1 have equal times, so again I don't see the problem here. If you buff bazookas to panzerschreck level I guarantee you will see every squad equpped with a m1919 + bazooka. Armour is not needed anymore and your enemy won't produce it anymore. Welcome to a boring new meta. Relic changed the ability for panzergrens to have only one Panzerschreck for a reason, people were just blobbing panzergrens and annihilating infantry and tanks likewise. Since you can equip every squad with bazookas, the same will happen. In: COH2 Balance |
Thread: Reduce cost of BARS and Bazookas?29 Sep 2014, 10:32 AM
If you buff bazookas you will have beta pzgrens running around since you can equip any squad with it. Bazookas are fine imo, what people seem to forget is that they have a higher rate of fire compared with shrecks, when going for rear Armour they can damage most tanks. Bar is overpriced for what it does, either reduce the price or increase its performance. In: COH2 Balance |
Thread: why kubel is still op? 28 Sep 2014, 20:05 PM
It doesn't suppress on the move anymore. If you run into its arc of fire(which is more narrow) , you should be punished for that. Move a second squad to flank in order to force a repositioning of the Kübel. Since you can't be kited anymore it's clearly just a battle of Micro. In: COH2 Balance |
Thread: why kubel is still op? 28 Sep 2014, 19:57 PM
People were not using it because they were told it sucks, due being op for a while they excessively were using it and now know how to play with it. It's pretty much what is was before, if you are still complaining it's op, you are clearly overdoing it. In: COH2 Balance |
Thread: Is there any point playing as US28 Sep 2014, 11:55 AM
I know Rifles are supposed to be better than cons. I feel like I do way better with Conscripts with molos compared to Rifles with nades. Besides you can tech At nades instead of getting them with Vet and they are way more useful than zooks. Scripts are also cheaper and have oorah which makes it fun flanking with them. Just shows that you have more fun playing Soviets. Everybody plays the faction he has most fun with. Nothing wrong with that. In: COH2 Gameplay |
