Thread: State of the ISU-15224 Jun 2020, 15:32 PM Its performance would be fine if it wasn't so difficult to counter. Its armor is simply too high. Axis being forced to go Ele/JT is not good game design. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Sturmtiger vs AVRE - in a very good spot right now?22 Jun 2020, 17:18 PM For how hard the ST is to use and fit into a build, one would think it'd be better than an AVRE. It's a blatant double standard that the AVRE has kept the damage profile that made the ST "OP" on top of being much easier to use. Are insta-wipes only OP when allies are on the receiving end? Give the ST back either its old base range OR world piercing (this would fix a ton collission issues). The damage profile nerf was enough to solve the constant wipes, but it was also applied after nerfing its range and projectile piercing, completely overkill. At the very least fix the ST's bugged/shitty vet bonuses and remove the manual reload/abandon crap, no one cares about the crew animation besides relic. It's another case of 5 mediocre vet levels being detrimental to a unit compared to 3 useful ones. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: UTT and the 2v2 meta - already stale?3 Jun 2020, 15:12 PM Jump back to quoted post3 Jun 2020, 11:38 AMKatitof Why the need to PM? Why aren't you aware of MHT? LMAO. You should have PMed him, now everyone will abuse your genius idea. In: Lobby
Thread: KT thread26 May 2020, 15:22 PM KT is fine. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Remove popcap from the IR HT?1 May 2020, 15:57 PM Should be lower, but not 0. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Sturmtiger and ARVE23 Apr 2020, 16:14 PM I think the ship has sailed on it getting a complete redesign. Better off suggesting smaller changes that are easy to implement. Such as: Reduced aim time to compensate for it being turretless. Give it some added utility with additional abilities unlocked with vet (recon flare projectile like Pfuss, smoke cannister projectile like a Sherman, etc.) Reduced base reload time since it has to be done manually and still creates an abandon risk. Currently it's the exact same as the AVRE which is automatic and comes with no risk. This usually translates to at least double the time between shots compared to the AVRE. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Sturmtiger and ARVE23 Apr 2020, 01:51 AM Reliable lethality is king, AVRE is heads above the ST there. Much easier to use as well with its turret and auto reload. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: IR Halftruck Infantry Detection needs to be fixed20 Mar 2020, 14:34 PM You're not going to be driving the IR HT around detecting units in the FoW like a 222. Honestly though, this ability is total garbage for the IR HT. It should be replaced with something else like single pass recon, loiter, offmap smoke drop, or mark target, etc. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Winter balance mod 2020 V1.310 Mar 2020, 18:49 PM Good changes overall. IR HT needs a different ability to be useful though. Single pass recon, recon loiter, or mark target, etc. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: COH2 winter balance mod - discussion21 Feb 2020, 22:51 PM Still no changes to the IR HT despite overwhelming feedback that the 1.0 version is dead on arrival? I worry that the current version will just be lazily released, making 1/3 of Battlegroup tech useless. Or some clunky untested changes will get shoved through on patch release. SturmTiger and Command Panther still lock out the KT? Remove this limitation already, it's a relic of the call in meta that has already been addressed by tying everything to tech. An additional quadruple nerf to the Tiger, on top of the CP nerf? What happened to the slow, gradual approach? At least make the aura a useful ability. In: COH2 Gameplay
