Jim is the best. I find that Relic themselves are guilty of a lot of the scummy stuff he talks about in his videos.
I'd just like to point out that under THQ they were doing the same inept patching, inept post launch support and crazy business models and its the same under Sega, seems to me the common denominator is the studio itself!
I have found them to be a mendacious studio from the personal interactions I've had with them and have no desire to support them due to their duplicity.
They are still good at talking themselves up and giving them selves a pat on the back. All the while being quite mendacious via private or public communications.
I believe the player from winners bracket didn't have a big enough advantage. Devm already got beaten, it was unfair that Aimstrong wasn't given the same luxury. Even if it takes longer you should have the second set played if the person from winners loses the first set.
Personally I would only allow white bordered commanders only for tournaments to show a stance against game play elements locked behind paywalls and for fairness because all people will have access to those commanders.
you improve the pathing logic so members don't clump up so much and make explosives do reliable damage but not enough to one shot and you will have a massive improvement and the squad size becomes irrelevant. (mortars having a good aoe radius but always doing 16 damage for example, which means you know a squad will die to five hits to the mortar alone so you can accommodate for the aoe better instead of being one shot.)
The first point is a bit tricker to achieve since pathing is voodoo magic, the second point can be done by sitting in AE for a day maybe and adjusting all the aoe profiles.
