That does not make MP-40 good, the weapon remains bad.

In addition your argument does not hold water:
Assault Engineer have far more utility the MP-40 VG
Cav riflemen has accuracy bonus, a snare and access to smoke

They both can have further weapon upgrades.

Your stat are simply off.

In which case you have to apply the same logic to the Volks/Assault Engineer comparison. The Volks'll need another 60% of a Volksgrenadier added.

Assault grenadier also use the same MP-40 and cost 280 and their weapon is inferior.

Now Pls stop this pointless arguing.
The fact is that MP-40 in live is significantly inferior to the grease gun.

Imo MP-40 Vg (and assault grenadier) in live a far less cost efficient than Assault Engineers, Cav riflemen and even PPsh conscripts.

I think the accuracy nerf for light vehicle passengers isn't the right way to make AT weapons used from them less effective.
(Assuming they work like other projectiles,) they still have a chance to hit if they "miss". That's why tanks gain scatter when moving in addition to reduced accuracy.

The best way to nerf AT weapons from light vehicles would be scatter or reload nerfs, both of which have a disproportionate effect on the intended weapons.

Bazookas can indeed theoretically still hit when they miss, but their scatter values are absolutely huge so there's only a very small chance that a miss will still scatter into the vehicle. Most shots will completely miss.

Scatter angle 18 (horizontal scatter)
Distance offset 0.6 (percentage of rounds that can under- or overshoot)
Distance ratio 0.55 (vertical scatter)
Distance max 14 (hardcap maximum distance on scatter)


Panzer IV scatter for comparison:
Scatter angle 7.5
Distance offset 0.25
Distance ratio 1
Distance max 6.4

I was referring to Volks having 2 STG, not Sturmpio btw. Changed the comment to make it a lot more clearer.
