Input lag - lets end it. 1+ for support

Im fed up with this input lag. Its only making the game worse there is zero reason for it to exist.

COH2 been here for nearly a year now and relic only half fixed it.

Now with the new commander pack p2w im pissed off and Im making a stand - get rid of this bullshit input lag, who is with me?

My man :) Theres no need for discussion on this. Its just a bad feature and it needs to be ironed out.

I totally can't stand it and I would like to understand exactly what causes it, if it's Steam, if it's the game, if it's Relic server, if they are multiple things. Just hope to get more info from Relic itself and which solutions they have in mind to fix it.

As far as I remember from other discussions on the topic, this lag is a side effect to peer 2 peer system.
I would love to see an official answer from Relic on this.

I am not sure if it's related to P2P at all: COH1 is a P2P game too and at least in 1vs1 and 2vs2 lag was very uncommon, you could easily play ranked games and basic games even if it showed pretty high pings (around 300) with no real input lag.

1 - they said that the game is NOT P2P (it all goes through some Steam Cloud centralized thing).
2 - again, P2P has nothing to do with input lag, the problem is related to some middleware they use (could be Havok?)
3 - I don't see how this can get fixed

it's probably actually most likely autodesk scaleform. which is basically a middleware that uses flash to make your user interface.
