Thread: Dawn of war 3 Game play changes10 Mar 2017, 18:25 PM after watching a couple of videos im actually looking forward to it more than I thought. Looks like large scale battles are gunna be hectic and the skill curve will hopefully be quite steep. Still can't condone Gabriel Angelos doing summersaults though. Atmospherics in maps looks to be nice. Engine change is also welcome. hopefully there's not nearly as much shite embedded as there was with the last one. In: Other Games
Thread: Relic Winter Balance Preview v1.3 Update19 Dec 2016, 01:19 AM I'm not really sure what the role of Penals is supposed to be after reading OP.. I like the idea of units from T1 having use in the late game. if you just HAVE to give penals access to PTRS use the fucking HT shared veterancy idea to make the M3 Scout car get a purchasable ability at vet 2/3 to dish out PTRS weaponry to infantry. It could get a slow income of vet from fighting alongside Penals and make it useful in the late game. This would make surviving T1 units really rewarding in the late game. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Batman: Arkham Knight25 Sep 2016, 08:58 AM Best arkham game IMO, must have played through it like 6-7 times. It does bring my i5 2500/970 to their knees though! Spent quite a lot of time modifying the game settings file and now have a quite stable version now. It got a lot of flak for performance and rightly so but I picked up after they took it off sale for £4 still a bargain at that price. Makes you wonder at what batman games they could release in the future, the free-roam formula is incredible. I think they'll let people forget about the problems with AK and release a similar game in a few years, without the performance issues it would have been the best Arkham game hands down and everyone would love it. Sega seem to have some really wonky rules and T&C's but Noganno is also at fault for agreeing anyway knowing that the final was (at least) an eventuality that he couldn't make. Ah well. All 32 invited players get an email where exactly stay that you have to travel for the finals, if you get into the finals. If you cant, doesnt matter which country you are. You get disqualified. So if jesulin couldnt travel at the time, when the finals are he would get disqualified too. Disqualified mean. Your scores you reached get too deleted. If (hypothetically) Jesulin does sign up anyway, even after reading the email, then gets to the finals and can't make it then you do have a problem though. There may not have been a problem initially, but there is now! and this is exactly what's happened. Imagine if 2 or 3 of the remaining players had done the same - what happens in that case? Sega need to make sure all bases are covered and formalities are met before things even begin.The terms and conditions of the tourney are a bit slippery anyway; [Entrants] must not be legally resident in any countries currently under sanction by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (“OFAC”) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury to include:.......Please note that the list of sanction[ed] countries can change at any time <--- your country could fall into this list mid way through the tourney... if Milestone 5 is achieved, participants must be able to attend and compete in the Grand Finals at Relic Entertainment’s Studio in Vancouver, Canada. So if Noganno signs up anyway before Milestone 5 is met he's fine but as soon as it's reached he's in breach? Abusing certain mechanics and bugs has always existed in coh2 and will probably always exist. I can't believe this.. What about if multiple players were involved in intentional match fixing in a tournament to ensure certain players go through? no 'third party' software involved there and I would still class that as cheating, wouldn't you? I agree with you here 100% and it is up to Relic to fix their code. Its also up to them to nail every dick who has been abusing it to the wall, no matter how popular they are in the community OR how far up the ladder they are. The only way I see to discourage people from abusing bugs like this in future en masse is to make abuse of stuff like this come with a heavy punishment from Relic. That becomes even more important when it takes them weeks to implement bug fixes. I'd love to see abusers get a ladder reset and only be able to get automatch games with other abusers. that would be immense! in fact, while we're at it I'd make it so they were stuck with some kind of special 'novelty' faceplate and skins that they cant get rid of so everyone can see! Inb4 half of the playerbase unable to automatch and with novelty skins.. In: COH2 Bugs
