Can someone please explain why USF is considered a mobile faction? How is it more mobile than any other faction?

The most mobile is OKW.

It's basically just a marketing slogan and has nothing to do with how CoH2 actually works.

USF is mobile because their Rifleman Garands are Semi-Auto meaning they are more accurate on the move compared to other baseline infantry. Their BARs also fire on the move whereas MG42s, Brens, Etc. require the squad to be stationary. The .50 Cal also has a fast set-up time which encourages you to move it around to support your Rifles.

They also have good light vehicles and all of their armor is designed to be fast but not durable - even the Pershing heavy tank is designed to be faster, more mobile and with a faster turret rotation than other factions but is easier to knock out than say a Tiger.

This all makes for a mobile faction that has to outmaneuver Ostheer which tends to play more static with a lot of support weapons (typically).

Due to reliance on strong infantry instead of support weapons and light vehicle play.

No reliance on weapon teams and tank crews can quickly repair engine damage, increased reliance on fast, light armor instead of rush for meds, lack of slow, heavy armor.

Thanks. Didn't know about the reduced accuracy penalty on the garands.

The game isn't like the WFA ad anymore, especially OKW. They were advertised as being "elite", but with the new economy buff and veterancy nerfs they're just basically a stronger version of Ostheer with less reliance on support teams. Alas, the USF isn't either, having probably the strongest and most versatile army in game, along with some pretty dank commanders to wipe the floor.

Major retreat point, ambulance, smoke, bars are all things that help you keep moving and constantly reposition. In theory you don't have to walk to your base after you've gotten bars.

Compare it to other factions and USF has in fact alot more mobility then other factions.
Though it's kinda a glass cannon mobile faction. Vs a good USF player you'll feel constant pressure, never enough time to heal up your troops.

USF units are better on the move, USF has ambulance, USF has poor arty and must outflank, USF vehicles die fast and must remain mobile

Riflemen are good on the move. USF officers all get sprint. Smoke promotes flanking and repositioning. USF has lots of light vehicles. Sherman rushes, jacksons are very quick. 50 cal has quick setup time. etc.
