CoH2 needs a leaderboard wipe

Too many people near the top of the table that cheesed there way there with OP BS like the old TA or guards motor, not to mention many of the top 100 that haven't played in months but they still sit there due to the ridiculous win ratios from pure cheese (not naming any names but it's pretty obvious who they are).

With the release of the big patch in Sept I think it's the perfect time for a leaderboard wipe, fresh start to show who the real quality players are now that the game is finally at a good state of balance.

Or people who quit a long time ago. I agree wipe the ladder when the patch goes live.

Reset ELO once in 6 months. There would be much more variety specially in top 50.

I would appreciate season rankings... (1 year = couple of seasons) leaderboards will be reseted every season...
The leaderboards are full of afk AT teams... it would remove them and inactive players...

They should keep the current leaderboard and turn it into the "all Time" leaderboard.

and then have a bi-weekly,and monthly leaderboard.

Or maybe, you know, do it like CSGO and set the rank to invisible, if you haven't played the faction / mode in a month, but keep the ELO (& decay) pending.

I can't agree with this. My alt accounts are sitting at a fairly good spot win/loss ratio wise as well as rank wise, so why should my ranks on the leaderboard be wiped?

What we need are seasons with some sort of cosmetic reward for your placement. Maybe like a tank skin or decal or some medal to display on your playercard?

You could have an overall ladder and seasonal ladders with separate ELO. Let players choose whether to play the seasonal ladder or oldschool ladder when going into automatch.

But maybe we don't have enough players for that - might make queues a nightmare
