Try building more than one JgdPz in a game, I dare you. If you succeed, count the number of su-85s built in the meanwhile. Your bias will decrease by a mile.

Yes that seems like a really fair comparison. Of course OKW should be able to build same amount of JP4's AND infantry with AT capability.

Use it with 12% extra rotation + 9% extra speed (3x bulletin)
You will be able to drive around "normal" speed while camo :D

wait they stack? :help:

Far and away the best TD in the game. As has been said arguably OP.

Needs to recloak more slowly. I see this TD get vet 5 extremely frequently, and as has been said, with a command panther it can take on two or three tanks simultaneously. The cloak with LOS bonuses, speed increases, and ROF make it stupidly lethal.

Anyone not impressed by this TD is not using it to the full. I actually go med just to unlock this beast.

Nope, this TD is awesome. No need to change, nerf or buff it. Fine as is.

It's crazy good. Beats su-85 from what I have experienced

It's map dependent, some smaller maps with lots of shot blockers and flanking points make using it an absolute nightmare.

It's attributes are exaggerated, IIRC it's got less penetration and a lower ROF than the SU-85 and penning it frontally with the Jackson is much easier than it used to be.

So easy to be flanked, so clumsy and so slowly rotating. A determined healthy push with 2 T34s and it's trash. People are overrating it. And currently OKW player has nothing serious to support it unless he gatters all his army around it => he will be the proud owner of 30% of a map => he will lose eventualy. I am far more happy with 2 pumas. A much more mobile force, can get in - get out quickly even if it's less durable.

P.s. - to those who will claim I am only saying this because I don't know how to micro it: it's easier to micro 2 pumas than one jagdpz I suppose...?

in my last game played on kharkov it was an admirable counter to the Su85, and 2 of them, a couple shreks and a raketenwerfer disolved 4 34/85's. guards and map control became a problem though. it can be tough when you have so many specialized units and no meat left to provide a core army.

I find JP4 and SU85 shine on Crossing, along with Jagdtiger.

If your JPIV survives its first minutes of existence and starts gaining veterancy it can possibly turn into a tank eating beast especially versus medium armor. I once had a vetted JPIV which single-handedly destroyed an ISU-152 which switched its munition types too late. Fighting versus IS2s with JPIV is problematic for me though.

There were 3 times in that replay that I fought 2 T34/85's with one JP4 by the center, each of us backing the AFV's with infantry and AT's. I lost the JP4 all three times but the other player also lost all six T34's, plus many Guards. The only survivor of all the battles was a Panzerfusilier squad that ended the match with 56 kills. The JP4 always killed one of the T34's before it went down and one time got both before the ZIS got it. I'm not sure why JohnnyB is complaining about the JP4, it would be about the last OKW unit that should be complained about.

Great thing about it is you can call it early if you dont teck earlier, and it can be protected by rakketens in buildings and shreks.

You can supplement with a call in command panther, or dual P4s, or on a really open map, a jadtiger.

Can save a lot of fuel, if you can make do without the flak HQ on the map and have extra Spio to make up for no T2 repairs.
