Ostheer GrW 34 Mortar - classic army unit, efficient both in attack and defense with useful abilities like smoke drop. One of those units that create real combat atmosphere in game while in action;

OKW Fallschirmjaegers - After reading Lions of Carentan, it was no surprise I was looking forward to playing the Fallschirms after the WFA release. However I was disappointed to see them carry FG42s like in vCoH and not K98/MP40/LMG34 like mostly in the war. And I've stopped playing the OKW for the time being, for various reasons;

USF Paratroopers - durable elite squad with versatile upgrades and great-looking outfits.

SO MUCH LOVE IN THIS THREAD FOR ALL KINDS OF UNITS.

But all you do, is spamming volks, obers and Tigers...

note the title is "Favorite Unit?" not "Most Used Unit?". I love the stuart but my love doesn't give it speed 19 with a rainbow behind it and 320 damage per shot every second.

Easy Eight of course!

And why the Jaeger are wearing pyjamas?
They were sleeping in the house before you woke them up. :snfBarton:

I would say the Ost Tiger, man I love that tank. How many times I made it vet 3 by just being nice and careful with it. Than my 2nd favourite would be mr. Panzer IV, just drive them with the tiger :D

Allies will be zhe ML-20 152 Howitzer

JLIs. Cheap enough to be spammed like hell, deadly at long range, can be issued from houses and they have a really nice looking camo in winter :P.

Engineers

Because they lay mines and demo charges.

Rage quits because his units get blown up everywhere he goes... Priceless

Zis-3 of course, great to support every strategy you use as soviets, especially with stacked reload bulletins. And that gun feels even better when stolen, looks funny with cross on it and grenadiers behind. Can be very beneficial if you steal it with okw to supplement lack of proper at gun.

stacked reload bulletins.

I need these...

My only duplicate Soviet bulletins seem to be extended ram range... Wrong meta, War Spoils...

This guy.

Because you have to be one bad mofo to run around in a war zone with nothing but a pistol like an Imperial Guard commissar. I'm also hoping that they'll finally give the soviets a commissar equivalent. Why has this not been done yet?

I'm actually quite surprised they haven't, they have all the other Red Army stereotypes except that one :P

There has been one in the game's files for a long long time though.

m4A3 sherman, voice lines were done awesomely and the tank is just so multipurpose. Love rolling through enemy lines with a top gunner just fucking shit up.

There's rumours of it appearing.

I know it appeared in Open Beta for a while.

They'll add Commissars when Relic can wrap their heads around the concept. Unlikly until Quinn reads one of those "hundreds of books" brags about, and not just looks at the pictures. :P
/end rant

I want to change my selection, even though I love the Sturmpanzer IV, because of blobs-be-gone factors. Fallshirms are just that awesome that I have to give them my vote. Second only to superman paras with Thompsons.
