Mg-42's balance, again.....

Seriously, Vet 0 Mg-42s should acquire their targets faster, thus opening fire faster. We all have those "WHY THE **** ARE YOU NOT SHOOTING" momments when the crew go full retard and refuse to shoot. This vet 0 buff should be compensated by removing these bonuses from their vet. If neccessary a +10-15mp price increase could work as well.

Well, i think MG42 and especially MG34 need a buff. Maxim is instant pin, while the german MGs need 3 or 4 salvos. This is bullshit! Also hard to flank Maxim because of the fast set up time and the ridicilous team size! That is absolute bullshit. Should be 3 or 4 like everybody else or less effective

It should get a buff so wehr-players play wehr for mg42s. Unique factions would be nice.

I'm not ranting about massive buffs, mg-42 only needs to lockdown it's target faster at Vet 0 and remove this buff from the vet. I think the Mg-42s is almost balanced compared to other stuff in-game.

Agreed, the MG 42 can barely defend its own self, against enemies attacking from the shooty end! Ironically I think each faction's respective MG does better in the hands of the opposing faction! A Soviet MG 42 has a 6 man crew against an opponent who can't sprint at it, with the small exception of Assault Grenadiers. A German Maxim has superior stopping power and can relocate quickly if flanked.

MG42s are extremely effective at what they do. The only time they take 3-4 salvos is at max range and in green/(possibly) yellow cover, which is functioning appropriately. Yes sometimes they take a little bit long to target initially but by and large they serve their function well. The last thing this game needs is another period of viable mg42 spam.
One thing to note, however, is there is a bug that causes the mg34 (not sure if this happens w/ the 42 as well) to set up in the exact opposite direction you tell it too. Its fucking infuriating and needs to be fixed.

MG42s are extremely effective at what they do.
And yet all we see are grenadier spam for ostheer.Maybe one odd mg 42 or sniper vs usa and mortar in urban map.Contradiction?
So much for being extremely effective.

If they don't, they get rolled over by rifles so its not like they don't want it anyway.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.
