The Jackson / Firefly comparison is a good one.

IR stg 44 ignore cover?I sense lategame pain.
Well at least it gave that doctrine something good alongside the panther command tank.
Question is at 400 mp,costlier than shocks does it have armor?

Is there a unit called veteran rifleman distinct from just riflemen?

Combat Blitz: looks like a much shorter version of the old blitz gets revived for the OKW.

Nah, just renamed regular blitz. They wouldn't bring back that monstrosity of an ability.

No, it doesn't ignore cover, it depends on cover, and make sure your troops aren't in cover while there is vampir MP44 around. :)

No he's right, it's the old Blitz bonus but it only lasts about five seconds.

how much damage does the jackson do? How is its main gun against infantry?

Judging from the video, the Jackson has 480 HP (b/c panther does 160 when pens). The SU-85 and P4 have 640.

When the patch arrives.

Everyone will download it, so don't worry.

Difference is, people who bought it will be able to play.

250 munitions for 3 stukas strafing at once with a squad of parachuting fallshirmjagers. Counter: AA m5 motor carriage, or any vehicle that is actually crewed. But the fallshirmjagers are pretty glitchy with their parachutes.

Fallshirmjagers otherwise cost 440 mp.

Oh yeah, and the crew weapon's health is under the squad's health, if that isnt there already.

So the parachuting Fallschirmjäger don't cost any manpower to call in? I watched the game but didn't notice the cost for the ability.

The strafe looks similar to Assault Support strafe.

The Munitions is equivalent to 380 muni of normal resources.

I was also suprised that the ability didn't cost any manpower, but 250 munitons is a LOT for OKW. And its 3 planes coming in to strafe, two from the north, one from the south. It has a huge area of strafe for a pretty long duration.

Ok, so obersoldaten also have a bundled grenade, the caustic smoke grenade like the fallshirmjagers (vet ability), and they also seem to be able to booby-trap points. Their lmg34 doesnt seem that lackluster either.

So... the infrared-scoped stg44's do damage that ignore cover modifiers? So units in green cover get shot as if they were in no cover; someone explain to me how this weapon works.

Panzerfusiliers and fallshirmjagers both have panzerfausts, i believe, and they both harrass infantry very well.

The doctrinal flak defences have two men crews? Isnt that just snipable, or are they immune to snipes?

unless they changed something, obersoldaten also have 1.25 accuracy modifiers against retreating units.

It's basically spending all the muni one could have all at once. I didn't see much destructive effect, though- a lot of suppression, that's all.

In the trailer, there was this triple stuka attack with strafe AND bombing.
