Assault guns are weak, sure they can work when massed and supported but then again... what unit doesnt work when massed and supported? I think its just fanboys of the tank itself who tells themselves the stug is good when panzer4 cost almost the same... and have way more utility.

what if target weak point would be a standard ability for ammo vs. being a vet1 ability ? I think I'd use the stug more often in that case.

I think that'd be OP then. Get 2 StuG, target weakpoint T-34, target weakpoint again, and now it's too weak to escape if not dead already.

I think it's an okay idea... but then target weakpoint needs to be nerfed so that it occurs in the tank's normal reload cycle, rather than being this sudden short half way through a normal reload... That said there is a possibility of it becoming OP...

Stugs come across as fine if they'r in their element but they get mauled if they run into Zis guns or any soviet tank that does 160 damage. They have low HP. There is less room for error like the P4 has. That HP differential can make a big difference in trying to escape.
I know that they are smaller targets than the p4 but it doesn't seem to make a big difference in-game.
