The flaw in the logic is that you attribute the mismatch between UKF and Grand offensive to PF.
The last tournament indicated that UKF where generally weaker than other allied faction and that Grand offensive was OP compared to other OKW commanders.
But PF had little to do with it. Things would probably turn also ugly if the PF where replaced in the commander with something else.
The only version of G43 that seems to be problematic is the PG/ST version.

G43's due to their snipe crit results in models just dropping from the fight therfore cutting your fighting effeciency down by 25-20% super fast wheras other fights they have to drain their health down to 0 before a model dies.
Obviously most weapons are an issue when blobbed but as I said above, the snipe takes it to another level.

I would say thats pretty accurate and some of my arguments are directed wrongly but I still stand by that G43's are an issue, when blobbed, G43's due to their snipe crit results in models just dropping from the fight therfore cutting your fighting effeciency down by 25-20% super fast wheras other fights they have to drain their health down to 0 before a model dies.
Obviously most weapons are an issue when blobbed but as I said above, the snipe takes it to another level.

Thats my confusion too, if they dont snipe then how do they consistently drop models incredibly fast, it seems far too often to be confimation bias.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

pgren g43's are each like BARs, Also they have extremely good moving dps. Compared to 3 bar they are quite cheap (50/60 muni vs 180 muni, yet another one of Lelic's money over balance design).

Many units units use the same weapon "type" but get more or less performance of it, depending on weather they "support" "mainline" or elite.
Ober k98 >>Gren k98>VG K98>Pf k98.
You can find the DPS of weapons if you download the COH2 tools and get a weapons report.

Well obviously the upgrade doesn't cost 180 munitions because you're not upgrading from an M1 Garand, but an Stg44 / elite MP40 on a limited amount of expensive squads.

Yeah, You can justify that for pg's but not for ST's. Their default weapon is kar98's. The mp40's are still free. ST's are less expensive than rangers. And rangers have to 180 muni for 3 bars.
