How do you make wrecked vehicles not salvagable?

When you place destroyed objects in the game (like tanks, AT-guns, etc.) they are still salvageable by OKW units. Which is obviously very unfair.

I am sure there is a way around this problem but I haven't found anything on this topic.

So can anyone help? I want to place a wrecked Tiger and Pak into my map but at the same time don't want them to be salvaged by OKW units.

I have not looked into this, but I dont think there is a way. I remember hearing years ago that the only objects you can use that are not salvageable have a MAP_OBJECT_ prefix?

EDIT: This refers to wrecked military objects.

I actually found a few vehicles that can't be salvaged. It's the frozen ones.

wrecked_panzer_iv_frozen for example.

I will test the ones you suggested too, maybe it works. Thanks for the answer.

The objects are only a few fuel anyway Keepo

I think 5 for big objects and 3 for small objects.

But if you get 5 free fuel in the first minute it makes a difference for LV timing. And then the object isn't there anymore and you don't have cover. (i know u arent serious, not sure why I wrote this)

I believe all the ones called "map object" work, but for all others you would need to make an entity group and provide a scar file for them to make them unsalvagable. Which I think also makes them indestructible. But tbh, I haven't dond it in a long time. So I would have to check and I am currently sick and on mobile. So gimme a day or so.

No need to bother with it. I have just used the ones with map object in them now and also the frozen ones I mentioned earlier.

I just brought it up to debate the idea of having them in the first place. I assume you are working a new 1v1 map where this would be critical.

Is it okay to have salvageable objects as long as they are balanced? One on each side of the map, etc.

Or just never use them ever?

Thoughts?

PS:
The 1v1 pool is currently very strong as far as playable maps. Mean while there are several people making 1v1 maps. What we really need are 2v2 and 3v3 maps. {hint}{hint}

I wouldnt use the frozen ones either, I remember something being wrong with them. You can add snow to all the map object ones with the terrain tool.

I can't remember the reason I don't use them at all, but there WAS a reason... just not sure what it was anymore rofl.

I know that's why I am working on a 2v2 map. It would only be ok to have salvageable vehicles on the map if all factions could salvage. Right now it would always be an unfair advantage for OKW IMO.

I figured out what is wrong with them (or some of them at least), they block LOS. Very counter-intuitive.
