Right now 60TD have 640HP, meaning 4 good hits. When you add in pen and damage and rof bonus and even speedy retreats. It just makes no sense to get 10 extra range when other factors are in play.

The Tiger is no better than IS2 and Pershing now.
Axis do not have arty ability to destroy Allies heavies.

I feel this is enough. Too much suffering for Axis players.

The WC2019 was dominated by Allies win rates.
And while 60TD did not determine as much, it helps to supplement Allies strong infantry med plays.

60TD makes 2v2 unplayable and boringly zone out our late games.

60 -> 55 range wouldn't change 2v2 = unplayable to playable. It's too small of a change to expect something that big. 2v2 is already very competitive with 60 range TDs. While there are major flaws being OST not having a 60 range TD and 70 range TDs dominating everything below them, there are many things that would need to be changed if the end goal is "balance". As it currently stands balance is pretty good aside from a few outliers (incoming allies went 5-0 is WCS finals!!!11!!!!11).

There are a few UP/OP units, but no faction is truly gasping for breath.... unless they drink tea....

So IMO, this is more or less a pointless change, more than likely attempting to address OPs panther issue as the previous thread was about. If you're being outranged, use AT guns. If they have rocket arty, use handheld AT or TDs. If your opponet is actually using combined arms and kicking your ass, give them a "gg" because they're playing a strategy game as it is meant to be.

Small change worth a try.

At least a 55TD will fear AT Guns now, instead of happily being more passive and wait for opportunity.

The thing is 60TD have superb vet bonus to zone out tanks. The 60 range is simply not needed on top of every positive stats they have, including cost effectiveness..

I think a good point you bring up here is veterancy. There is a big difference in the SU85 vet and that of FF for example. That is what needs tuning IMO, not range.

I also think Ukf is under estimated but it suffer from Wehr design, a bit too slow early game for the explosive impact, so you need at least a teammate and shared resources. But late games they are strong with churhills and 5 man IS/RE and 60TD. The last 2v2 WC was led by Ukf victories.

Not the same technically. This is smaller in scope and easy to implement.
