Ok, these two abilities are completly useless.
Valiant Assault.
It gives you faster movement and better accuracy but what's the accuracy bonus in fact?
I've done few tests at long range with Falsch vs Guards and mirror battles between Falsch.
I haven't noticed any difference when used valiant assault or without it.
Falsch lost to Guards with and without Valiant Assault all engagements. In fact, their best try was without Valiant Assault being active.
I've lanuched few mirror battles at melee and long range. They lost every single engagements at long range with Valiant. I'd say it's RNG because mirror battle, but with higher accuracy, something should be noticed. Faster HP drop at enemy, anything. I don't want another For Mother Russia, but I guess 100 ammo is enought to make combat buff a bit better, so it's at least noticeable.
Airborne Assault.
Pure crap. Bassicly it's Falsch squad for ammo which comes without surprising enemy, like 3CP call in.
Planes just suppress infantry and nothing more.
I'd like to see ability for 250ammo useful, like Stuka and IL loiters, but combined them into one so it targets infantry and vehicles but not on that devastating level. Target everything in exchange for damage.
But in fact, any kind of buff will work.

No, I mean 4 models shoot at everything and 1 model with schreck shoots only at tanks or when you command attack ground for example. |

Overrun with infantry? Jaeger, Fusiliers, Falsch... You don't need Obers at all to fight infantry.
Luftwaffe needs only 1 thing. Make the last ability useful. It's just useless run with free Falsch. I'd rather get rid of them and buff it. For 250ammo it's just pathetic.

I am thinking of a reload mechanic for every RPGs ingame. After every five shots, you have to reload your RPG by means of some munitions. Like 60-70 munis after every 5 shots, costing shots 17-18 muni each.
Such thing has to come along with inability to fire schrecks/zooks at infantry. |
Australian Magic - I agree with the 1 LMG idea. Though maybe Paras should keep 2, they're elite doctrinal after all.
Of course they should keep 2 of them but for the cost of lower efficiency, like cut DPS for 40%. |
Solution for Rifle blob could be part of something bigger, like 1LMG per squad for everyone.
Grens can live with that, why Rifles cannot? Double LMGs and ultra LMG 34 are killing this game.

that is indeed a rare bug, i don't remember when is the last time i used t70 recon mode.

Luftwaffe is quite good but Falschrimjaegers are not easy to use. They are glass cannons so I wouldn't advise you that at the beginning. |
I'd say OKW is way easier for begginer. You don't need coordination between Grens, HMG, Pak40 and tanks.

I often catch myself that I did not choose a doctrine but only when playing OKW.
I mean, if the game is in my favour, I have 2 leigs, few volks with schrecks, 2 obers with LMG and Panther, I don't need any doctrine so the choice is not what I need, but what I don't need aka "Nah, I don't need JT; I don't need Jaegers etc.." so I often end with Sturmtiger becasue ST is never a bad choice. |
