Thread: Diversifing the DPS roles of Penals and Cons26 Jul 2014, 06:40 AM I've always wanted to see the DP as a non-doctrinal upgrade for either penals or cons, gated by a t3 or t4 requirement, on top of that an upgrade called "Improved Logistics" the cost of a time attack T-70, which is pretty much what the effect of 2 DPs on x amount of squads would do. Muni upgrades gated by 190 fuel, I think its a fair price to choose whether you want better late game inf or faster armor. Won't happen though, as far is it is now Sov is holding fine. I find it to be the most boring faction right now due to its lack of "flavor" upgrades like the other 3 factions get. Just a lack of choices when it comes down to the faction itself, not considering commanders. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: rifleman's flamethrower23 Jul 2014, 13:56 PM The flamethrower is actually amazing, especially on CQC maps with a lot of buildings. Its strange you can't re-buy the flamethrower when it blows up? I think its an oversight rather than intended honestly. I think the same happens if you lose a DP on your guard squads. When you lose a Shrek on a Panzergren squad you can re-buy a shrek if you lose one, curious as to why it isn't the case here. In: COH2 Bugs

Thread: Rifle Company v Mobile Defense22 Jul 2014, 01:43 AM Strong defense lines exhibited by Hans proves difficult to poke holes through, mean while I pull off way too many haphazard flanking assaults. You see at least two rifle nades take out retreating squads. While the Rifle Company is great at keeping you in the late game by pumping out E8's and vetted rifles to make up for lost ones, the instant build time vetted rifles can prove to be way too effective and overwhelming in the early-mid game. This doc needs a look at. IMHO I think E8's themselves are fine as they are. In: Replays
