Where are these popular strats then? I hear a whole lot about them, but haven't seen ANYONE do any kind of engi spam, maybe except Romeo who tried to RET spam, sprice who is sprice and does weird shit that somehow works but exclusively for him and Redxwings, who usually fails if he tries stuff like that. I hear a lot about how heavy REs were OP, but not once faced heavy RE spam-the apparently most powerful "engies are core" strat out there, at least according to forums. So, if these engi centric strats are so strong, why no one plays them? In: COH2 Gameplay

Proof: Prices and performance of M1919 and bren vs LMG34 or soviet booby traps vs OKW booby traps. And now OKW have between 71% and 90% win rates in ALL modes. USF was good exclusively in 1s, 2s were pretty balanced, 3s and 4s were as balanced as it gets with rates being no higher then 60% for any faction after initial brit nerfs. The "free" AA has been there from Stoneage and now some people are thinking is wrong. T4 does not run anywhere, is there exposed to indirect fire, and it is not as efficient as a mobile AA. It has its downsides and it pays for its advantages. Like stated above, OKW is not the single faction with "free" features, everybody knows it. It was wrong since day 1 and never stopped to be. Changes to the doctrines(industry) and short term increase of popularity of said doctrines pushed the issue to the surface again. Exactly the same issue applies to schwerer. Player is prohibited from using certain abilities only and exclusively because OKW player teched up. In: COH2 Gameplay

IMO i am fine with medics,repair and area denial HQ(although it penetrates too often against any kind of tank/vehicle) but free-no-skill AA is just stupid. +1 OP Actually, they do have proper off maps now with the new doctrines. If things will how as they are going now, next doctrine will give volks AI weapon upgrade and sniper call-in. OKW seems to be getting every single thing the army missed while not really having any real disadvantage anymore. In: COH2 Gameplay

I would like to see slight suppression added instead - it wouldn't affect its performance against static positions much (were it performs fine imo) but increase performance against blobbed infantry (were it performs poorly atm). Calliope shoots much more then 16 rockets, most of them in the first barrage, they still do 80 dmg. Katy also have huge scatter, which makes it 100% RNG tool while pwerfer annihilates whatever you shoot at. In: COH2 Balance
