If you play team game and have a choice between calling DSHK and having your USF team mate dropping you .50 cal, pick .50 cal. And just for comparison, the Maxim: 7.05 / 13.42 Not much of a difference long range and because Maxims cooldown is dynamic, the DPS at close range is higher then theoretical one, but since pretty much only long range DPS is relevant(because squads will just retreat when caught at any other range) there isn't any need for details here. The only reason to get DSHK is pretty much if you NEVER plan to go T2 DSHK is a supplement, not valid, cost effective replacement justifying less mobility and higher cost. At least in my opinion. Vet one is godly in buildings MG-42 is high surpression, medium damage. MG-42 vet 1 is godly USF 50 cal (largest bullet) garbage damage and suppression, dies to everything MG42 DPS: 7.85 / 25.85(double with vet1 active) Vickers DPS: 7.33 / 34.86 .50 cal DPS: 9.09 / 27.30 Only far DPS is relevant, because no squad ever gets to receive this at close. Why do people keep pulling stuff out of their rears instead of doing facts checks..... In: COH2 Balance

The only thing that doesn't affect friendly units is the retreat-on-death debuff. Thus, if you are a real pro you make sure that your officer follows your friends' blobs, not your own. Well, they've buffed HMGs to specifically fend off blobs to a point. We had off-maps erasing blobs, but they erased blobs, so community screamed for nerfs until they got them There won't be mechanic to deter blobing and every single unit that excelled at obliterating blobs was drowned in tears and in result in quad to penta nerfs. This community whines for months about blobbing, but when unit countering blobs appears, they whine much harder to nerf it asap and in result the unit can't counter blobs any longer, because side effect of anti blob unit being effective vs blobs is it being effective vs singular squads just as much In: COH2 Gameplay

And same person says you have to rely on them, because your core infantry can't win...you are so consistent with your answers make me laugh Let me in you on a little secret then: Smoke doesn't root you, you can still move and reposition. You're delusional if you keep ignoring 25 fuel cost upgrade for smoke. If there is early smoke, there won't be early vehicle, which means your sniper have lots of free kills to do. If there is early tech, there won't be smoke to counter HMGs. I'm sorry, but if you can't position your units properly and react to that happens on the field, you'll always be a loser. I'm very consistent. Its you who is completely unable to get a grip on how soft and hard counters work in the game. You live in some enclosed world of yours where only 1v1 battles between units happen and you're always at disadvantage. Perhaps if its always like this for you, you just need to get good?
