After quick check to see if its legit complaint I've got to the conclusion that you don't even play game modes OR the faction in question OR factions facing the unit, which means you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about here. In 4s you play axis, but in 4s CQC squads are the very worst thing you could ever do, early game is also hardly relevant, where cav rifles thrive. So I'm asking again: What is the balance ground you base your argument upon that isn't "this doctrine works exactly how its supposed to work against unprepared opponent who doesn't adapt"? OKW always had immense push in early game thanks to spios and volkspam, now enjoy being on receiving end of it. Also, you're greatly over exaggerating the effectiveness of cav rifles, they are pretty much USF assault grenadiers and early game transport vehicle isn't anything new to face against as both sov and ukf can do it since forever. You dont screen with inf before you fire a barrage? RAK is detected at 20 which means all you need is a squad of engies in front of the katy to detect for it. you don't queue a reverse to base order after it fires? Because then it cant get hit by anything whilst it recharges in base. Not all frintline is contested at all times and there is zero reason to send your troops to secured sector with no visible opponent in it. That's kind of RTS basics 101. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Dealing with blobs15 Dec 2018, 10:22 AM First option means a NERF for axis HMGs, because we'd have to REMOVE suppression from them to the level where they can do it. For 2nd, there already are dedicated AI vehicles that will deal with blobs easily, use them. Third makes no sense and blobs already take massive attrition from explosives. That leaves l2p and last option. Alternatively, you can stop playing 4v4. In: COH2 Balance
